摘要: A liquid level maintainer for controlling a liquid level in a reservoir. The liquid level maintainer includes an inlet configured to be coupled to a source of pressurized fluid, an opening configured to receive liquid from the reservoir, a first outlet, and a second outlet. A first flow path is defined between the inlet and the first outlet, and a second flow path is defined between the inlet and the second outlet. A constriction is disposed in the second flow path, the constriction configured to provide a pressure differential in the second flow path for drawing the liquid from the opening towards the constriction. A third flow path is defined between the opening and the constriction. A valve is disposed in at least one of the first or second flow paths and configured to selectively open and close the at least one of the first or second flow paths.

摘要: A water tank has a container, a micro switch, a limiting assembly and a float. The float is mounted slidably in the container. The limiting assembly has an actuating rod that slides in a direction perpendicular to the sliding path of the float. An inclined guiding track is mounted between the float and the actuating rod to convert the moving direction. Since the actuating rod utilizes the movement to switch the micro switch on and off, the actuating rod and the micro switch need no abutting structures. Therefore, when the actuating rod is moved by an accidental force, the actuating rod self-moves back to its original position once the accidental force is removed. Then the micro switch is switched on again so that the household appliance is restarted without any extra acts by a user.

摘要: A liquid level valve control system includes pressure responsive means compring a first chamber containing a first diaphragm having a port for applying pressure; bleed means enabling air to pass this diaphragm; and passageway means enabling air then to pass into a further chamber also containing a diaphragm operatively linked to the valve operating apparatus; so that, when a predetermined and substantially constant pressure is applied at the port, air bleeds past the first diaphragm into the further chamber to move the diaphragm therein to activate the valve control system, but when a surge of pressure is applied at the port the first diaphragm moves to block the passageway into the further chamber, thus preventing pressure being applied to the latter's diaphragm to activate the valve control system. The invention also suggests a secondary valve of a kind, known per se, in which a "pinching" pressure across the valve's flexible body flexes one or more sealing member inside the body to close the valve, while the application of a force perpendicular to the body's surface flexes the or each sealing member to open the valve.

摘要: A gas regulation device to delay for a predetermined time the closing of a gas actuated main valve of the type having a main valve conduit connected to the main valve for carrying the gas which actuates the main valve. The regulation device comprises a first conduit which can be disposed in the main valve conduit to form a portion thereof and a check valve which is disposed in the first conduit so that gas can pass through the first conduit only in one direction. A bypass conduit is connected to the first conduit across the check valve such that gas can pass from the first conduit on one side of the check valve through the bypass conduit to the first conduit on the other side of the check valve. A flow regulation device is disposed in the bypass conduit to limit the flow of gas through said bypass conduit such that the pressure drop or increase required to open or close the main valve is delayed for a predetermined time.

摘要: Liquid (13, 13a) within a vessel (12, 12a) which receives an inflow is maintained at a predetermined level (43) by discharging liquid as necessary to compensate for the inflow. Discharge flow is drawn from below the surface (18) of the liquid to avoid clogging from scum or from other undesirable effects of surface draw off. Intake structure (34) for the discharge pump (33, 33a) has a branched flow path (47) that includes a first inlet (48) situated above the predetermined level, a second inlet (49) situated below the predetermined level and a flow junction (51) through which both inlets are communicated with the discharge pump, the junction being at the predetermined liquid level. If the liquid rises above the flow junction, the pump draws liquid through the second, subsurface inlet. If the liquid surface recedes below the flow junction, the pump aspirates air or other gas through the first inlet. Consequently liquid level is stabilized at the elevation of the flow junction. The system is applicable, for example, to chemostats (11, 11a) in which microorganisms are cultured in a liquid medium.

摘要: The invention deals with continuous process mixing of pulverized solids and liquids. It offers a mixing process comprising:continuously introducing a liquid into a mixing container;continuously introducing a solid powder into said container at such a rate that specified proportions of solid and liquid in the mixture are maintained;rotating the products in the container in such a way as to establish a vortex;regulating the solid and liquid supply rate in such a way that a given level of filling of container is constantly maintained;continuously emptying the products mixture so that level of filling is maintained. It offers as well a mechanism to implement the process including a mixing container having an intermediate bottom and a runoff opening, a turbine mounted above the intermediate bottom, and mechanism for supplying a liquid and a solid. Advantageously, the liquid is used to wash down the walls of the mixing container and may be applied to parts of the turbine to avoid retention of solids in the container. It can be applied to hydraulic binders preparations and specifically to continuous process preparation of a plaster and water mixture.
