摘要： A thermal trigger assembly for remote mechanical actuation of another fire protection system component includes an activation component having a base and a movable member. A bias member biases the movable member from a preactivation to an activated position with respect to the base. A thermally responsive element retains the movable member in the preactivation position until a predetermined thermodynamic condition is reached, when the thermally responsive element loses structural integrity. A flexible connector includes a flexible hollow outer cable housing with one end configured to be stationarily (preferably fixedly) connected with the base. A flexible cable is inside the outer cable housing for sliding movement therein and has one end configured to be stationarily (preferably fixedly) connected with the movable member. The flexible cable is moved with respect to the outer cable housing by movement of the movable member upon loss of structural integrity by the thermally responsive element.

摘要： Techniques and safety devices are described for extinguishing fires within an inventory management system. A plurality of fire extinguishing devices for a plurality of containers in an inventory management system is monitored. Upon determining that a fire condition is occurring within the inventory management system, a positional information data store is queried to determine a current position of a first container within the inventory management system. Two or more containers within the inventory management system that are in close proximity to the first container are identified and one or more wireless signals are transmitted to two or more fire extinguishing devices of the plurality of fire extinguishing devices that are contained within the two or more containers, to activate the two or more first extinguishing devices. The plurality of containers is scanned using an infrared scanning device to determine whether all fire conditions within the inventory management system are extinguished.

摘要： The proposed technical solution relates to fire prevention equipment and can be used in industrial and civilian properties, including with an increased risk of fire, for locating hot spots, and also for efficiently extinguishing fires in facilities using automatic fire-extinguishing systems. The technical problem addressed by the claimed invention is to produce a fire-extinguishing device which does not have the drawbacks mentioned and has increased reliability, efficiency and manufacturability. The technical result of the claimed invention consists in elimination of the drawbacks of the prior art, in an increase in the reliability and manufacturability of a fire-extinguishing device and thus in an increase in the fire-extinguishing efficiency overall.

摘要： A fire protection device for small electrical devices provided with a housing. The fire protection device includes a bursting capsule featuring a hollow space that is completely enclosed and delimited by a vessel wall, wherein a liquid is disposed in the hollow space. The liquid breaks the vessel wall at a predetermined trigger temperature due to thermal expansion thereby causing the bursting capsule to rupture. When the vessel wall ruptures and releases the liquid it has a fire preventing effect and/or a fire extinguishing effect.
