摘要: A hydrocarbon burner for an enclosed environment includes a heat exchanger having a first heat exchanger inlet connected to an inlet of the hydrocarbon burner and a first heat exchanger outlet connected to a heater, and a second heat exchanger inlet connected to a reactor outlet and a second heat exchanger outlet connected to an outlet of the hydrocarbon burner. A reactor includes a reactor inlet, the reactor outlet, and a catalyst mixture disposed in a reactor bed between the reactor inlet and the reactor outlet. The heater connects the first heat exchanger outlet to the reactor inlet. The reactor is a low temperature reactor configured to convert at least one hydrocarbon to at least one of H2O and CO2.

摘要: Disclosed are a metal single-atom catalyst and a method for preparing the same. The method uses a minimal amount of chemicals and is thus environmentally friendly compared to conventional chemical and/or physical methods. In addition, the method enables the preparation of a single-atom catalyst in a simple and economical manner without the need for further treatment such as acid treatment or heat treatment. Furthermore, the method is universally applicable to the preparation of single-atom catalysts irrespective of the kinds of metals and supports, unlike conventional methods that suffer from very limited choices of metal materials and supports. Therefore, the method can be widely utilized to prepare various types of metal single-atom catalysts. All metal atoms in the metal single-atom catalyst can participate in catalytic reactions. This optimal atom utilization achieves maximum reactivity per unit mass and can minimize the amount of the metal used, which is very economical.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for removing oxygen from hydrocarbon-containing gas mixtures, characterized in that a hydrocarbon-containing gas mixture containing 50 vol % of one or more hydrocarbons, 2 to 10 vol % of oxygen, and possibly one or more gases from the group comprising nitrogen, noble gases, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and water is introduced into an isothermally operated reactor, in which the oxygen contained in the hydrocarbon-containing gas mixture is at least partially converted into carbon dioxide and water in the presence of one or more catalysts, wherein the specifications in vol % relate to the total volume of the hydrocarbon-containing gas mixture introduced into the reactor and add up to 100 vol % in total.

摘要: A monolithic metal-organic framework (MOF) composite body is disclosed, comprising: MOF crystallites adhered to each other via a binder comprising MOF; and at least 0.15 vol % nanoparticles encapsulated in the MOF body. The nanoparticles have an average particle size corresponding to an average particle diameter in the range 3-200 nm. The nanoparticles may have photocatalytic activity. The MOF composite body is of use for treating water containing an organic dye, the photocatalytic reaction supported by the photocatalytic nanoparticles being a degradation reaction of the organic dye.
