Abstract: The invention relates to information representation, exchange, validation, and utilization. Embodiments of the invention enable a fully digital shared information reality: an information fabric, in which unlimited numbers of participants can all permanently access (with access controls) information objects that all participants can trust and verify, according to a universal set of protocols that are logically complete, address all stages of information exchange, and enable convincing, persuasive user experience. We disclose foundational embodiments that include methods to properly record, store, communicate and display information in digital form; computational verification and validation of information; and foundational concepts in human-information interaction. The invention teaches that by using unique digital objects, numerous difficulties and inefficiencies in state-of-the-art information exchange are overcome, and the next stage of digital transformation is enabled. Embodiments discussed include Next-Generation Digital Documents, Universal User Interface and Application Programming Interface for physical objects and devices, and user-friendly digital signatures.

Abstract: Vehicle inspection systems and methods are disclosed. A system disclosed includes a frame configured to be mounted to a vehicle, wherein the frame comprises an extendable arm. The system also includes at least one camera for taking imagery of a damaged vehicle at an accident scene in support of a damage assessment, wherein the at least one camera is coupled with the extendable arm. The system also includes at least one damage filter associated with the at least one camera. The damage filter creates filtered imagery based on the imagery of the damaged vehicle.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for navigating a host vehicle. In one implementation, a system may include a processing device configured to receive an image acquired by an image capture device; determine a planned navigational action for accomplishing a navigational goal of the host vehicle; analyze the at least one image to identify a first target vehicle ahead of the host vehicle and a second target vehicle ahead of the first target vehicle; determine a next-state distance between the host vehicle and the second target vehicle that would result if the planned navigational action was taken; determine a stopping distance for the host vehicle based on a maximum braking capability of the host vehicle and a current speed of the host vehicle; and cause the vehicle to implement the planned navigational action if the stopping distance is less than the determined next-state distance.

Abstract: Autonomous solution for connecting a user to a live agent. Language input is received from the user during a communication session. The input is interpreted using artificial intelligence, and language responses are generated based on user-specific parameters. The interpretation of the language input includes determining a vector in multi-dimensional space that represent the sentiment and tone of the input. The generation of language responses includes providing prompts for information about products or services that might interest the user and determining their applicability based on predefined criteria. Additionally, the user-specific parameters are adjusted in response to the vector in multi-dimensional space.

Abstract: Systems and methods provide for an automated system for analyzing damage to process claims and pre-claim consultations associated with an insured item, such as a vehicle. An enhanced claims processing server may analyze damage associated with the insured item using photos/video transmitted to the server from a user device (e.g., a mobile device). The mobile device may receive feedback from the server regarding the acceptability of submitted photos/video, and if the server determines that any of the submitted photos/video is unacceptable, the mobile device may capture additional photos/video until all of the data are deemed acceptable. In addition, the server may interface with third party entities such as repair shops and may generate a payment for compensating a claimant for repair of the insured item.

Abstract: Technology for determining an insurance fraud risk associated with a user comprises receiving, at an enterprise, a call or a chat from a user device associated with the user. Data associated with the call or the chat is analyzed to determine if at least one factor indicating fraud is present. A weighted level of possible fraud associated with the at least one factor is determined. The weighted level of possible fraud is compared to at least one weight threshold. The user is identified as an increased fraud risk based on the weighted level of possible fraud meeting or exceeding the at least one weight threshold.
