Abstract:
A block tool, which can be assembled by a user, is configured with multiple types of blocks and is shot by a camera for capturing a still image or a moving image. The position coordinates of a marker of the square-pillar block in a three-dimensional space are obtained by image recognition. Also, a connecting position and the type of each block, a gradient vector of the square-pillar block, an angle between two blocks constituting the square-pillar block, and the respective blocks' lengths are obtained so as to derive the shape, posture, and position of the block tool, and corresponding information processing is then performed.
Abstract:
The present invention is intended to realize character string input using two or more devices by an efficient technique. A character string input system includes a first information processing apparatus and a second information processing apparatus. The first information processing apparatus acquires an operation done on a first input device and acquires a first character string on the basis of the acquired operation. The second information processing apparatus acquires an operation done on a second input device and acquires a second character string on the basis of the acquired operation. The first information processing apparatus outputs an input character string on the basis of the first character string acquired by the time input of the second character string is started by use of the second input device and the second character string.

Data of a moving image has a hierarchical structure comprising a 0-th layer, a first layer, a second layer, and a third layer in a z axis direction. Each layer is composed of moving image data of a single moving image expressed in different resolutions. Both the coordinates of a viewpoint at the time of the display of a moving image and a corresponding display area are determined in a virtual three-dimensional space formed by an x axis representing the horizontal direction of the image, a y axis representing the vertical direction of the image, and a z axis representing the resolution. By providing a switching boundary for layers with respect to the z axis, the layers of the moving image data used for frame rendering are switched in accordance with the value of z of the frame coordinates.

An imaging device includes a first camera and a second camera and shoots the same object under different shooting conditions. A shot-image data acquirer of an image analyzer acquires data of two images simultaneously shot from the imaging device. A correcting section aligns the distributions of the luminance value between the two images by carrying out correction for either one of the two images. A correction table managing section switches and generates a correction table to be used according to the function implemented by the information processing device. A correction table storage stores the correction table showing the correspondence relationship between the luminance values before and after correction. A depth image generator performs stereo matching by using the two images and generates a depth image.

Provided are methods and systems for collecting telemetry data by a telemetry library within a client device. A system for the collection of telemetry data by a telemetry library within a client device may comprise a client device to initialize the telemetry library. The system may further comprise a processor to contact a configuration server with identifying information specific to the client device to retrieve configuration information. The system may then perform a search using the identifying information, return configuration regular expressions related to the identifying information to the telemetry library, and identify the telemetry data along with a namespace or a scope to which the telemetry data belongs, using a name generated by the telemetry library.

A method includes generating an audio signal, generating a control signal that is configured to control a haptic feedback device that is incorporated into a device for delivering audio based on the audio signal to a user, and embedding the control signal in the audio signal by using a pseudorandom signal to form an encoded audio signal. Another method includes receiving a signal that includes an audio signal having an embedded control signal, recovering the control signal from the received signal by using a pseudorandom signal, using the recovered control signal to control a haptic feedback device that is incorporated into a device for delivering audio, recovering the audio signal from the received signal, and using the recovered audio signal to generate audio in the device for delivering audio. Systems perform similar steps, and non-transitory computer readable storage mediums each store one or more computer programs.
