Abstract: Apparatus for spectrometrically capturing light includes a wavelength-adjustable filter for converting spectral information into location information and an organic photodiode for converting the location information into electrical signals which can be forwarded, wherein the filter and the organic photodiode form a one-piece monolith, the organic photodiode is connected to the filter or the organic photodiode is integrated in the filter, the filter consists of at least one spectrally resolving element in the form of at least one layer-like photonic crystal which constitutes the monolith and in which two layers of variable thickness D are formed along a direction perpendicular to the incidence of light. A resonant layer is arranged between the two layers. The organic photodiode includes: a photoactive layer, a first electrode, and a second electrode sandwiching the photoactive layer, and one of the electrodes is in contact with the photonic crystal.

Abstract: A spectrometer includes a support having a bottom wall part in which a depression and a peripheral part are provided, and a side wall part, a light detection element supported by the side wall part while opposing the depression, and a dispersive part disposed on an inner surface of the depression. A length of the depression in a second direction in which a plurality of grating grooves included in the dispersive part is aligned is larger than a length of the depression in a third direction orthogonal to the second direction when viewed in a first direction in which the depression and the light detection element oppose each other. An area of the peripheral part adjacent to the depression in the second direction is larger than an area of the peripheral part adjacent to the depression in the third direction when viewed in the first direction.

Abstract: A PDA 5 has a plurality of light receiving elements. An A/D converter 30 converts an output signal from each of the light receiving elements of the PDA 5. A conversion processing unit 42 sequentially executes, for the plurality of light receiving elements, a conversion process of converting an output signal from an identical one of the light receiving elements at least twice within a preset time range with the A/D converter 30, to acquire at least two output values. An average value calculation unit 43 calculates an average value of the at least two output values for each of the light receiving elements acquired by the process executed by the conversion processing unit 42.

Abstract: A polychromator includes a substrate and a functional element having an optical spectral decomposition action. The functional element having an optical spectral decomposition action is configured to spectrally decompose electromagnetic radiation originating from an entry opening, e.g. light which originates from an optional radiation source and is reflected at a sample, so that a spectrally decomposed spectrum is obtained, and to image the spectrally decomposed spectrum onto a spatial area of the substrate. The substrate includes at least two transparent zones at different positions within the spatial area, so that two different spectral components of the spectrums are detectable at the two transparent zones.
