摘要: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for characterizing and monitoring biological material. In one aspect, a method for characterizing biological material includes acquiring optical data associated with a biological material, and analyzing the optical data to determine optical properties of the biological tissue. The method also includes determining, using the optical properties, phase information corresponding to the biological material, and generating a report characterizing the biological tissue using at least the phase information.

摘要: A system including a light source, sampling tray, and a plurality of fiber optics positioned to achieve high contrast to improve accuracy and eliminate the need to rotate the sample. A composite light image from the fiber optics is fed to a spectrometer which converts the reflected light into a fingerprint corresponding to the concentration of at least one substance in the sample. The fingerprint is processed by a statistical model to determine concentration level of the at least one substance in the sample and the concentration level is then displayed.

A processor is provided for receiving output signals from the first sensor set. The processor is for calculating a snowpack profile.

摘要: A system for tissue inspection is provided, comprising a console (50) with a light source (64), a spectrometer (66), an optical switch (65) and a processing unit. The system further comprises an elongated shaft (10), wherein an illumination fiber (40), a plug (50) in front of the illumination fiber (40), and a detection fiber (41) is provided in the elongated shaft (10). The illumination fiber (40) is capable of transmitting light from the light source (64) to its front surface and is capable of transmitting light being back-reflected from the plug (50) to the optical switch (65). The detection fiber (41) is capable of transmitting light reflected from tissue in front of the distal end surface of the elongated shaft (10) to the optical switch (65). The optical switch (65) is configured to provide the back-reflected light to the spectrometer (66) for generating a reference spectrum and to provide the light reflected from the tissue to the spectrometer (66) for generating a diffuse reflectance spectrum. The processing unit is configured to generate a tissue spectrum by normalizing the diffuse reflectance spectrum with the reference spectrum.

摘要: The invention relates to an optical accelerometer, comprising a seismic mass, equipped with a mobile reflective surface, according to a rotating axis, an emitting optical fiber, coupled with a light source, intended to emit a light beam, through one of its edges, in the direction of the reflective surface, and a receiving optical fiber, coupled with an optical detector, intended to receive, through one of its edges-, the light beam sent back by the reflective surface. The arrangement of the ensemble is such that a rotating movement of the reflective surface leads to a deflection of the light beam and a variation in the light intensity received by the receiving fiber. According to the invention, a convergent lens is interposed, on the optical path of the light beam, between the optical fibers and the seismic mass.
