摘要: An optical construction includes an optical film between first and second prismatic films, which each include pluralities of parallel, linear first and second prisms. Each of the first and second prisms have opposing first and second sides extending from first and second ends of a base of the prism and meeting at a peak. The first and second sides make first and second base angles with the base of the prism. The peaks of the prismatic films face away from each other and the optical film. For a collimated, normally incident light, for at least a first wavelength in a first wavelength range, and for each of first and second polarization states: the optical film has an optical transmission of less than about 1%, and the optical construction transmits at least 1% of the incident light at an oblique angle greater than 5 degrees with respect to the optical film.

摘要: Techniques, methods, systems and articles are described for monitoring electrical equipment of a power grid, identifying installation and/or configuration errors of such electrical equipment, and automatically correcting the errors. In one example, a system includes at least one processor and a plurality of sensors coupled to a multi-phase power line comprising a plurality of electrical cables that are each associated with a respective phase. The plurality of sensors are configured to generate sensor data that is indicative of one or more conditions of the electrical cables. The at least one processor is configured to receive the sensor data and determine, based at least in part on the sensor data, whether a sensor of the plurality of sensors is installed correctly. The at least one processor is also configured to perform an action in response to determining that the sensor is not installed correctly.

摘要: An integral optical stack includes a lens film having first and second major surfaces. The first major surface includes microlenses having an average peak-to-valley height PV1. A light absorbing layer is disposed on the lens film and defines a plurality of openings. A substantially planarizing optically diffusive layer is disposed on the first major surface of the lens film, conforming to the microlenses. The optically diffusive layer includes a plurality of nanoparticles. A polymeric material bonds the nanoparticles to each other to form a plurality of nanoparticle aggregates defining a plurality of voids therebetween. The optically diffusive layer has an average thickness greater than about 8 microns, and an index of refraction of less than about 1.25. Any non-planarity of a major surface of the optically diffusive layer due to the microlenses of the first major surface has an average peak-to-valley height PV2, PV2≤0.7 PV1.

The composition may be packaged as a two-part composition, wherein a first part comprises the blend of monomers, and wherein a second part comprises the organoborane complex. Articles are bonded with the composition, which is at least partially cured. Methods of making a bonded article are also disclosed. Bonded articles can include at least one low-surface-energy plastic.

In some embodiments, the presently described articles include packaging.

摘要: Devices are provided, including a housing defining at least one window, a broadband UVC light source, and a multilayer article positioned within the housing. The multilayer article includes an absorbent layer and an ultraviolet mirror containing at least a plurality of alternating first and second optical layers. The absorbent layer absorbs and/or scatters ultraviolet light having a wavelength between at least 230 nanometers (nm) and 400 nm. The ultraviolet mirror reflects ultraviolet light in a wavelength range from 190 nm to 240 nm. Methods of disinfecting a material are also provided, including obtaining a device and directing ultraviolet radiation through the window, and exposing the material to the ultraviolet radiation for a time sufficient to achieve a desired degree of disinfection of the material. Systems and computing devices including the device are also provided.
