摘要: A fixed voltage and a movable electrode are placed face to face with each other, and an insulating film is formed on the surface of the fixed electrode. The insulating film is made of a nitride film (SiN) as a main material, with oxide films (SiO2) being formed on the front and rear surfaces of the nitride film. Moreover, a plurality of protrusions are formed on an area facing the movable electrode of the upper face of the insulating film. The charge quantity in the insulating film is mainly determined by a film thickness of the oxide film, and the nitride film is used for maintaining a sufficient film thickness required for the voltage proof characteristic. Thereby, it is possible to suppress variations in operational voltage characteristics such as on-voltage and off-voltage in an electrostatic actuator so as to prevent phenomena in which the electrostatic actuator fails to turn on even when a rated voltage is applied to the electrostatic actuator and in which the electrostatic actuator fails to turn off even when the driving voltage is turned off.

摘要: To provide an optical wave guide that may be produced by reproduction method in easy and simple manner, and has a structure that prevents light signal in its inside from leaking out from core, and a method for producing the same optical wave guide. A concave slot for forming a core is formed on the upper surface of a cladding substrate. And on both sides of the concave slot, cavities are formed via flat portions. An ultraviolet ray hardening type transparent resin is applied onto the surface of the cladding substrate, thereafter the transparent resin is pressed by a stamper. At this moment, a core is formed in the concave slot and excessive transparent resin is pressed between the stamper and the flat portions flows into cavities, as a result, it is possible to make the transparent resin thin in a short time. Thereby, it is possible to make the transparent resin left on the flat portions into thickness and width enough to prevent light in the core from leaking out.

摘要: In a receiver, immediately after the channel-up key or channel-down key is operated, the receiver 1 starts a tuning motion of tuning in to a program which is being broadcast by the virtual channel number corresponding to the operation. When the channel-up key or channel-down key is operated, if it is in the middle of tuning in to a channel corresponding to a previous operation, the tuning motion is stopped, and a tuning motion of a program, which is being broadcast by the virtual channel number corresponding to the operation of this time, is started.

摘要: A flow velocity measuring device is able to conduct a fluid to a sensor element after removal of dust and dirt contained in the fluid to accurately measure the flow velocity of the fluid even when the fluid is low in flow velocity and the device is mounted in any direction. A flow passage is formed by internal spaces, which have curved wall surfaces, introduction passages connected to the internal spaces at one ends of the wall surfaces tangentially to the wall surfaces, discharge passages connected to the internal spaces at the other ends of the wall surfaces tangentially to the wall surfaces, and branch discharge passages connected to the internal spaces at substantially right angle to a direction, in which the wall surfaces are curved, and a sensor element is arranged in the branch passage or a flow passage connected to the branch passage.

摘要: A model for determining the type of soil, the water content of a soil, and the soil properties, and a soil measurement data storage portion (60) to store therein measurement data necessary to carry out the model and correlated with specific measurement conditions are provided. The water content is measured by a water content measuring portion (57) on the basis of the measurement data fed from a soil sensor (S). The type of soil is determined by a feature extracting portion (56) and a type-of-soil determining portion (58), and the determined type of soil is sent to a determining portion (59). The determining portion (59) determines corresponding conditions and a model according to the type of soil and water content of the measured place received and sets them in a predetermined processing portion. The soil sensor feeds measurement data meeting the measurement conditions to a measurement information processing portion (55), and the processing portion (55) determines the soil properties according to the determined model.
