Abstract:
Mobile communication circuit reporting location information and methods thereof are provided. The circuit comprises a receiver, a transmitter, and a control circuit. The receiver receives first and second location information requests comprising respective first and second timing periods at first and second reference times respectively. The transmitter transmits first location information at a first reporting time having a first timing lapse from the first reference time in response to the first location information request and the second location information at a second reporting time in response to the second location information request. The control circuit, coupled to the receiver and the transmitter, calculates a timing difference between the first reporting time and the second reporting time, and determines second location information according to the first location information when the timing difference is less than or equal to a predetermined timing difference threshold.

The present invention provides a structure of a resistor comprising: a substrate having an interfacial layer thereon; a resistor trench formed in the interfacial layer; at least a work function metal layer covering the surface of the resistor trench; at least two metal bulks located at two ends of the resistor trench and adjacent to the work function metal layer; and a filler formed between the two metal bulks inside the resistor trench, wherein the metal bulks are direct in contact with the filler.
Abstract:
A light emitting diode (LED) includes a substrate, a buffer layer and an epitaxial structure. The substrate has a first surface with a patterning structure formed thereon. The patterning structure includes a plurality of projections. The buffer layer is arranged on the first surface of the substrate. The epitaxial structure is arranged on the buffer layer. The epitaxial structure includes a first semiconductor layer, an active layer and a second semiconductor layer arranged on the buffer layer in sequence. The first semiconductor layer has a second surface attached to the active layer. A distance between a peak of each the projections and the second surface of the first semiconductor layer is ranged from 0.5 μm to 2.5 μm.
Abstract:
A motor magnetic pole assembly includes a coil body, a base, and two conductive portions. The coil body has a central shaft in a center and connection ends at two ends respectively. The base includes a column and a first plate body, the coil body surrounds the column, and the central shaft is parallel with the column. The two conductive portions are respectively arranged on a surface of the first plate body and are spaced by a distance, and the two connection ends are electrically connected to the two conductive portions respectively. The base may further include a second plate body, such that the first plate body, the column and the second plate body form an H shape. Therefore, the motor magnetic pole assembly may be precisely and quickly placed on a circuit board through an automation process, thereby increasing a processing speed of a production line.
Abstract:
Techniques are provided for the caching of content prior to the content being requested. A request for desired content may be received from a client application at a caching server. The request may also indicate additional content related to the desired content that may be subsequently requested by the client application. The indicated additional content (and the desired content, if not already cached) is retrieved from an origin server. The desired content is transmitted to the client application at the user device, and the additional content is cached at the caching server. Subsequently, a second request may be received from the client application that includes a request for the additional content. The additional content, which is now cached at the caching server, is served to the client application by the caching server in response to the second request (rather than being retrieved from the origin server).
Abstract:
Described is a technology by which an image is transcoded to a desired quality measure (e.g., PSNR). A quality measure of transcoded image data is checked against a desired quality measure, and if a desired quality measure is not achieved, a different quality level is iteratively provided to attempt to re-transcode the image until the desired quality measure is achieved.
Abstract:
Described is a technology by which a raster graphics image file (e.g., a PNG) containing pixels having color component data and alpha channel data (e.g., RGBA data) is transcoded into a smaller Palette Indexed format with non-noticeable and/or virtually no loss. Hextrees are used to represent the pixels of the image, such as one hextree for each subset (segment) of the image's pixels, where alpha channel data distribution may be used to determine each segment. A palette containing sets of alpha and color values is generated from the hextrees, with the transcoded image data provided by representing the pixel data as indexes to the palette.
Abstract:
By monitoring the temperature of an LED and the temperature of a controller chip for the LED, a thermal foldback control is employed to gradually decrease the driving current of the LED before the LED or the controller chip is over heated, so as to prevent an over temperature protection from being triggered to shutdown the controller chip to cause the LED to undesirably flicker.
Abstract:
A lamp rotating device to change a lighting angle includes a light tube, a lighting module, two fixed ends and two rotating parts, an open is on both ends of the light tube, two fixed ends each is installed on one open, each of the rotating part is installed between the fixed end and the open respectively, one side of the rotating part interferes with light tube to have the light tube rotate along the fixed end by the movements of rotating part, and change a lighting angle.
