    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a hot plugging device for optical transceiver modules. The hot plugging device comprises a module housing, latching grooves extended from prescribed positions of both sides of the module housing to one end of the module housing, respectively, sliding members extended in the longitudinal direction of the module housing and linearly movably accommodated in the latching grooves, respectively, and a rotating member rotatably attached to one end of the module housing for engaging ends of the sliding members with corresponding ends of the latching grooves, respectively, while the rotating member is placed at a prescribed angle to the longitudinal direction of the module housing. With the hot plugging device of the present invention, a locking unit of the module housing is easily released, and the release of the locking unit is maintained, whereby the module housing is easily separated from a cage. Also, a working space necessary to separate the module housing from the cage is reduced, whereby many more optical transceiver modules can be mounted. Furthermore, only latching pieces are deformed when the module housing is separated from the cage. Consequently, the present invention has an effect of preventing permanent deformation of the module housing or the cage or damage to the module housing or the cage.

    Abstract: Disclosed are acrylic polymer beads and an acrylic sol composition containing the acrylic polymer beads that are used for automobile underbody floor, wheel housing, fuel tank, body panel junction and hood, door, or the like for the purpose of water tightness, vibration isolation, and anticorrosion. More specifically, the acrylic polymer beads having a core/shell structure, which are prepared by using a part of the monomer constituting a core layer to form seeds by a seed polymerization, polymerizing the rest of the monomer to form a core layer and then foaming a shell layer containing an appropriate amount of a crosslink agent, have a narrow particle size distribution and thereby provide, when used in addition to a plasticizer and a filler in the preparation of an acrylic sol composition for automobile, high storage stability of the acrylic sol and excellent properties of the coating formed by gelation of the acrylic sol.

    Abstract: In a channel equalizer applicable to a digital television receiver, a forward filter and a backward filter perform filtering to an input signal and a predetermined signal. A Viterbi decoder corrects errors during a transmission procedure in a blind mode. A training symbol storing block stores training symbols. An output signal of the Viterbi decoder and symbols are provided to the backward filter in accordance with a blind mode or a training mode. A Kalman gain is calculated in a Kalman gain calculating block and an error signal is calculated by comparing an equalized signal, symbols, and the output signal of the Viterbi decoder with one another. A tap coefficient is updated by using the calculated error signal and the Kalman gain.
