    Abstract: An electric vehicle includes a modular support structure having a central frame module and front and rear frame modules in the form of a lattice framework, having two upper longitudinal beams and two lower longitudinal beams connected to each other by uprights and cross-members. The front frame module carries a front suspension with wheel supports carried by upper and lower oscillating arms, and a front electric motor unit including two electric motors, having respective motor axes coincident with each other and arranged along a transverse direction with respect to a vehicle longitudinal direction. The motors are positioned spaced apart from each other, and are symmetrical with respect to a vehicle median line. Two gear reducing units are arranged centrally between the two electric motors, with housings having lateral walls from which output shafts project, which are connected by drive shafts to wheel hubs rotatably mounted on the wheel supports.

    Abstract: An electric vehicle includes a suspension and powertrain unit having a vehicle frame module, an electric motor unit carried by the frame module centrally between two wheels and a suspension including, for each wheel, an upper oscillating arm and a lower oscillating arm carrying a respective wheel support. Each wheel support rotatably supports a respective wheel hub connected to the electric motor unit by a respective drive shaft. Brake discs are mounted on two output shafts of the electric motor unit, at a distance from the respective wheels, and are connected by drive shafts to the hubs of the two wheels. Thanks to the absence of brake discs adjacent to the wheel hubs, swivel joints connecting each wheel support to the respective upper and lower arms can be arranged so as to define a steering axis passing through a respective wheel center and thereby having a substantially zero kingpin offset.

    Abstract: A gear lever for motor vehicles is provided, of the type including a lever body, a grip, a block and a rod. The lever body defines a main axis and is configured for being associated to a gearshift device of a motor vehicle. The block is arranged to be displaced between an operative position and an inoperative position, respectively, for blocking and releasing the lever in or from a given gearshift position. The rod is slidably mounted within the lever body, and connected to which is said lever block, and which is arranged to be governed via a control member positioned on the lever body or on the grip for shifting the block from the operative position to the inoperative position. The lever is also height-adjustable.

    Abstract: A device for loading and unloading a wheel of a vehicle includes an actuating device operable to move a cable between a lifted wheel position and a lowered wheel position. A support anchored to the wheel is elastically suspended to a supporting rod carried by the cable. A bracket secured to the vehicle has an axially fixed bush, through which the supporting rod moves following actuation of the cable. The rod has a lateral surface provided with projections. The rod and the bush have cam surfaces which come into engagement with each other during a final lifting stage to cause the bush to rotate towards a position in which, following a lowering of the cable, the projections rest on seats on the upper end surface of the bush to discharge the weight of the wheel.

    Abstract: A rear-seat assembly, comprising a backrest, a transverse pin for articulation of the backrest, and a pair of brackets fixed by welding to respective rear wheelhouses. Each bracket comprises a fixing plate and a central bracket body, which are constituted by two separate components of sheet metal having different thicknesses and fixed together by welding. The fixing plate has front and rear surfaces contacting an inner surface portion of the wheelhouse, and the central bracket body is substantially C-shaped with a central wall and two side walls, which are bent with respect to the central wall and have respective front edges welded to the fixing plate front surface. The central wall has an opening for insertion and blocking of one end of the transverse pin having an internal edge that is not bent, with a thickness equal to the thickness of the central bracket body.

    Abstract: Unit with longitudinal beam and front plate for a motor-vehicle front structure, comprising a longitudinal beam in the form of a hollow profile and a front plate rigidly connected to a front end of said longitudinal beam. The longitudinal beam comprises a first beam element defining an upper wall, a lower wall and a first side wall of the longitudinal beam and a second beam element having a wall defining a second side wall of the longitudinal beam. The front plate has a rear face facing towards the longitudinal beam to which there are welded a first flange and a second flange which are separate from each other, for connecting the front end of the longitudinal beam. The first flange is a C-shaped bracket with an upper wall, a lower wall and a side wall respectively welded to the upper wall, the lower wall and the first side wall defined by said first beam element. The second flange is an L-shaped bracket, with a first wall welded to the rear face of the front plate and a second wall facing towards said second side wall defined by said second beam element. The above mentioned welds are electric spot welds. The two flanges may have different thickness.

    Abstract: A movable loading floor for a trunk of a motor vehicle has an upper surface, defining a support for luggage or other objects, and a lower surface adapted to be arranged in a position facing a bottom floor of the trunk. The loading floor is provided with a rear portion having a through opening, which has a size and shape for allowing a user to insert a hand into the through opening for grasping the rear portion. The loading floor is provided with a band which, in an inoperative configuration, closes the through opening. At least one rear portion of the band is elastically deformable so as to downwardly deform under the pressure of the hand of the user and therefore to define a passage with respect to a rear edge of the through opening.
