Abstract:
In a lock-up clutch for a torque convertor, the number of mechanical parts is reduced to thereby simplify the structure. The lock-up clutch used in the torque convertor is provided with a clutch portion composed of a piston member and an elastic coupling portion composed of an outer circumferential support member and arc springs. The arc springs extend in the circumferential direction. The outer circumferential support member integrally includes outer circumferential support portions for covering outer circumferences of the arc springs and circumferential direction support portions engages with both ends, in the circumferential direction, of the arc springs.
Abstract:
In a charging connector device for an electric vehicle composed of a power supplying connector and a power receiving connector, an indicator lamp of a two color type is set in an illumination chamber within a case body of the power supplying connector. One color of the two colors is used for illumination. The power supplying connector includes a locking lever and a microswitch. When both connectors are provisionally coupled with each other, a securing piece at the one end of the locking lever runs over a securing protrusion of the power receiving connector so that the pressing potion at the other end of the locking lever presses a switch spring of the microswitch to be turned off, thereby giving rise to no energization of the charging connector device. When both connectors are completely coupled with each other, the lever is elastically restored by the action of a coil spring, thus energizing the connector device.
Abstract:
A power coupling mechanism having fluid dampening device with interfitting members which assist in the absorption and transmittance of stress due to torsion and thrust loads, thus reducing the size of a bearing supporting relatively rotatable parts.
Abstract:
A flywheel assembly comprises a flywheel having a friction surface, a flexible plate, and a stopper plate serving as a stopper mechanism. The above-described flexible plate is flexible in the bending direction and rigid in the rotational direction, and has a radially outer portion fixed to the flywheel and a radially inner portion fixable to an end of a crankshaft of an engine. The stopper plate is for restraining bending deflection of the flexible plate when it exceeds a predetermined amount.
Abstract:
In a built-up flywheel comprising a first flywheel (12), a second flywheel (30) and a clutch covering body (32), a cooling mechanism is provided which has a cooling port (52) formed in the inner periphery of said second flywheel (30) and a cooling groove (50) arranged generally radial at the front surface of said second flywheel (30) so as to rake the air inside said clutch covering body (32) discharged from said cooling port outwards in a radial direction. The cooling port (52) forms a circulating route of the cold air, so that the atmospheric cold air can be effectively supplied into the clutch covering body (32), and the frictional face of the second flywheel (30) can be cooled. Moreover, the cooling groove (50) works to discharge the air inside the clutch covering body (32) positively outside through the cooling port (52), rendering the pressure inside the clutch covering body (32) negative, whereby the atmospheric cold air can be further positively supplied into the clutch covering body (32 ).
Abstract:
This invention relates to a flywheel assembly including a flywheel divided into first and second flywheels (20 & 23). An intermediate friction force generation mechanism (42) generating a weak friction force in a small torsion angle range and a medium friction in an intermediate torsion angle range is provided and further a maximum friction force generation mechanism (54) generating a maximum friction force in a large torsion angle range is provided, in between the both flywheels (20 & 23). A large torsion torque exceeding a working torsion angle of the intermediate friction force generation mechanism (42) can be buffered by a large friction force generated by a slip action of the maximum friction force generation mechanism (54).
Abstract:
A flywheel with a dynamic damper which has an elastic member having a rectangular cross sectional shape and made of an elastic material which can dampen all the vibrations transmitted from a crank shaft to the flywheel. The dynamic damper is fixed to an engine side face of the flywheel rigidly fastened to the engine crank shaft, and a weight having a mass corresponding to the mass of the flywheel is floatingly supported through the elastic member so as not to contact with the flywheel.
