Methods of making and using silylethynyl pentacenes and compositions containing silylethynyl pentacenes are also disclosed. Substrates and devices comprising the silylethynyl pentacenes and compositions are also disclosed.
Abstract:
The present invention generally relates to a system that can be used to form a photovoltaic device, or solar cell, using processing modules that are adapted to perform one or more steps in the solar cell formation process. The automated solar cell fab is generally an arrangement of automated processing modules and automation equipment that is used to form solar cell devices. The automated solar fab will thus generally comprise a substrate receiving module that is adapted to receive a substrate, one or more absorbing layer deposition cluster tools having at least one processing chamber that is adapted to deposit a silicon-containing layer on a surface of the substrate, one or more back contact deposition chambers, one or more material removal chambers, a solar cell encapsulation device, an autoclave module, an automated junction box attaching module, and one or more quality assurance modules that are adapted to test and qualify the completely formed solar cell device.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a system for provisioning homogeneous servers comprising an image repository coupled to a plurality of servers through an internet protocol (IP) networks wherein the image repository comprises a base virtual disk file. The system may further comprise a logical virtual disk file instance for each of the servers which created a least one change to the base virtual disk file.
Abstract:
A printing system comprising: a printing device having first and second similar printing mechanisms; first and second similar holding means for holding respective first and second rolls of label stock in a position to pass the first and second printing mechanisms respectively; and a local processor connected to supply print data to a selected one of said first and second printing mechanisms and comprising means for receiving print data and a command for supplying said print data to the selected one of said first and second printing mechanisms to print an image on a label of the respective associated one of said first and second rolls of label stock, based on said command; and a host computer connected to the printing system and arranged to execute a common printer driver for supplying said print data and command to the printing device, regardless of which printing mechanism is selected.
Abstract:
A system for conducting commerce across a distributed network includes a remote consumer computer. A merchant server communicates with the remote consumer computer across an open network to enable purchasing of a product from the remote consumer computer. A financial clearing house server is located within a secured closed network and communicates with the remote consumer computer and the merchant server across the secured closed network. The merchant server creates a merchant ID, receipt ID and transaction total corresponding to a consumer transaction and sends the merchant ID, receipt ID, and transaction ID to the financial clearing house server and the remote consumer computer. The financial clearing house server arranges payment of the transaction in response to a matching merchant ID, receipt ID, and transaction total from the remote consumer computer.
Abstract:
The invention provides a control strategy and a control system to control a gas sensor to a target operating temperature. It relies upon both feedback and model-based feedforward control systems to achieve and then maintain the sensor at the target operating temperature. The mechanization includes a gas sensor with a heating element in a feedstream. The control strategy employs a control system for the heating element that is based upon the target operating temperature, the temperature of the heating element, and an effect of the feedstream and mounting structure on the temperature of the sensor. The control strategy enables the control system to optimize the heating of a sensor during warm-up and steady state operations.

Abstract:
A system (100) for simulating a fluid flow condition within a fluid carrying body cavity includes an elastically deformable bladder (101) simulating the body cavity and mounted to the body of a patient simulator manikin (3). An inlet tube (102) communicates a pressurised fluid supply (1) with the bladder (101). A solenoid valve (103) enables/disables flow of fluid through the inlet tube (102). The solenoid valve (103) is controlled by a control means (2) based on the simulated fluid flow condition. An inlet flow restrictor (106) restricts flow of fluid through the inlet tube (102). An outlet flow restrictor (105) is associated with an outlet (104) for restricting flow of fluid through the outlet to atmosphere. A simulator is also disclosed comprising a manikin (3) and various fluid flow simulation systems associated with the manikin (3) for simulating a lung respiratory rate, blood pulse rate and blood pressure.
Abstract:
A method and system for securely recording a verbal transaction, the method including the steps of recording an offer and an acceptance of the transaction as a digital audio file, generating a voice security token from the recorded digital audio file, and providing the generated voice security token to a buyer and/or a seller, wherein the voice security token provides authentication of the transaction. The voice security token is generated by sampling audio frequency and intensity set of the recorded digital audio file and converting the sampled information from a current time domain spectrum to a frequency domain spectrum to condense the sampled information. Finally, a digital file is generated from the condensed information, and encrypted to produce the voice security token.
