摘要: In a laminate product formed by an organic member and/or an inorganic member, high strength adhesion between the organic member and the inorganic member is achieved by providing an adhesion layer which includes amorphous carbon nitride (a-CNx:H) particularly between the organic member and the inorganic member. Further, in order to protect a laminate product formed by an organic member and/or an inorganic member, for example, an organic electronic element including an organic compound layer, such as an organic electroluminescence element, a protective film including at least amorphous carbon nitride and a protective layer having a laminate structure formed by sandwiching a vapor deposition inorganic film between plasma polymerized films are used. Thus, a protective film which is optimum to an organic electronic element, having high bending stress resistance, high shielding effect against moisture and oxygen existing in the air, and excellent resistance to high temperature and high humidity can be provided.

摘要: A rotary mechanism uses a rolling element, an outer-ring housing member and an inner-ring housing member. The outer-ring housing member or the inner-ring housing member is divided thicknesswise into two parts, to have a gap at between the two-divided parts of the housing member. Due to this, slide resistance can be caused by deforming the rolling element received in the outer-ring and inner-ring housing members.

摘要: The invention provides a cell phone which shows good receiving sensitivity even in a state where synchronization with a base station is not provided, such as power-on and detection of a dead space. The invention alternately switches between a plurality of antennas a predetermined number of times per fixed time predetermined in accordance with the number of perch channels in a state where synchronization with a base station is not provided, and sets an antenna whose mean value of the receiving level of each of these antennas is the highest as an antenna to be used subsequently, that is, an antenna to open a control channel.

摘要: Electroluminescent element includes two dielectric layers disposed on either side of a luminescent layer wherein a transparent electrode and a backing electrode are formed on respective dielectric layers. In a preferred embodiment, the dielectric films include tantalum oxide and at least one oxide of either indium, tin, or zinc wherein the total content of the indium, tin, and zinc atoms in the dielectric layer comprise 55 atomic % or less with respect to the total content of tantalum, indium, tin, and zinc atoms. The dielectric films have a relatively high dielectric constant and high breakdown strength.

摘要: A manifold converter comprises a housing constructed of two metal shells welded at their mating edges; a catalyzer carrier unit installed in the housing in a manner to define therein upstream and downstream portions with respect to the catalyzer carrier unit; and a sealing mat disposed between the catalyzer carrier unit and the housing to achieve a hermetical sealing therebetween. A binding structure is further employed for binding a given portion of the housing where the sealing mat is located. With this binding structure, undesired permanent expansion of the housing caused by the inevitable thermal expansion is suppressed or at least minimized.
