Abstract:
A translation-lookaside buffer includes a content-addressable memory (CAM) cell to generate a CAM current signal with a first transistor configuration having a set of transistors of a predetermined size and connection. A reference current circuit generates a reference current signal with a second transistor configuration corresponding to the first transistor configuration, with the exception of the size and connection of selected transistors. A match sense amplifier selectively generates a match signal in response to the CAM current signal and the reference current signal.
Abstract:
An ablation planning system includes a user interface (104) configured to permit selection of inputs for planning an ablation procedure. The user interface is further configured to incorporate selection of ablation probes and one or more combinations of ablation powers, durations or parameters applicable to selected probes in the inputs to size the ablation volumes. The user interface includes a display for rendering internal images of a patient, the display permitting visualizations of the ablation volumes for different entry points on the internal images. An optimization engine (106) is coupled to the user interface to receive the inputs and is configured to output an optimized therapy plan which includes spatial ablation locations and temporal information for ablation so that collateral damage is reduced, coverage area is maximized and critical structures are avoided in a planned target volume.
Abstract:
A system and method for accounting for motion of a target in a medical procedure includes an endoscope (302) including a tracking mechanism (304) for tracking positions and orientations of the endoscope. Memory storage (310) is configured to record the positions of the endoscope when positioned at or near moving target tissue. A motion sensor (312) is configured to track cyclical motion of an organ such that the cyclical motion of the organ can be correlated to the recorded positions of the endoscope and the target tissue.
Abstract:
Salts of kukoamine B, their preparation method and their pharmaceutical use in preparation of drugs for preventing and treating sepsis. Experiments indicate that salts of kukoamine B have a good effect on antagonizing the key factors inducing sepsis, and can be used in the preparation of drugs for preventing and treating sepsis. Under the current circumstances of the lack of effective measures for the treatment of sepsis in clinical practice, the medicinal formulations, which comprise the salts of kukoamine B, pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and/or diluent, provide a new approach for the prevention and treatment of sepsis.
Abstract:
A CT system includes a rotatable gantry having an opening to receive an object to be scanned, an x-ray source configured to project an x-ray beam toward the object having a primary intensity, a detector configured to detect high frequency electromagnetic energy passing through the object and output imaging data, and a data acquisition system (DAS) connected to the detector and configured to receive the imaging data. The system also includes a computer programmed to obtain image projection data of the object from the DAS, correct the projection data using a scatter function that is based at least on a known characteristic of the x-ray beam, and generate images using the corrected projection data.
Abstract:
Lanosterol derivatives useful as anti-cancer agent, which can inhibit the growth of lung cancer cells, liver cancer cells, mammary cancer cells, brain cancer cells and pancreatic cancer cells, possibly by acting on the RHO pathway. These lanosterol derivatives are represented by compound LD030:
Abstract:
A method, system, and program product are provided for x-ray pose recovery during an endoscopic procedure. An x-ray image is taken with a C-arm at a first pose, capturing a region of an endoscope with fiducials thereon. The C-arm is moved from the first pose to a second pose at another viewing angle while maintaining the position of the endoscope. Another x-ray image is taken with the C-arm at the second C-arm pose, capturing the region of the endoscope with the fiducials thereon. The location of the fiducials on each x-ray image is determined using segmentation. An iterative optimization is performed using the locations of the fiducials in the two x-ray images to form two-dimensional projections of the three dimensional curve of the region of the endoscope with fiducials thereon to determine the three-dimensional translation and rotation of the C-arm from the first x-ray pose to the second x-ray pose.
Abstract:
Interface circuitry and method for transmitting and receiving downstream and upstream data signals simultaneously via a common conductor pair. The composite signal containing the downstream and upstream data signal components being conveyed by the common conductor pair is isolated, e.g., via signal filtering or buffering, and combined with an appropriately scaled inverse replica of the outgoing upstream data signal to subtract out upstream data signal components and thereby provide the downstream data signal substantially free of any upstream data signal components.
Abstract:
A channel switching processing method, system, and related devices are provided. The method includes: receiving, by a switching server, a channel switching request sent by a receiving end; and when the switching server determines that current switching resource information does not meet a switching condition according to the channel switching request, performing, by the switching server, an exception handling procedure, and sending channel switching instruction information to the receiving end, in which the channel switching instruction information is configured to instruct the receiving end to perform a channel switching operation corresponding to the channel switching instruction information. A channel switching processing system and related devices are also provided. Therefore, the channel switching efficiency may be effectively improved.
