The present invention relates to a plate holder and a liquid crystal display having the same. There is provided a plate holder for fixing a plate in a liquid crystal display. The plate holder includes a base portion, a body portion formed on an end of the base portion and laterally extending therefrom, and a head portion formed at a distal end of the body portion. The body portion includes a first body portion and a second body portion disposed to be spaced apart by a predetermined interval from and to face the first body portion.

Disclosed are a bifunctional catalyst for simultaneously removing nitrogen oxide and particulate matters, capable of decomposing nitrogen monoxide and generating nitrogen dioxide through oxidation of nitrogen monoxide, a composite catalyst including the catalyst for simultaneously removing nitrogen oxide and particulate matters used for an apparatus to decrease exhaust gas of diesel vehicles, and a method for preparation thereof. The catalyst and the composite catalyst can be used in a device for reducing exhaust gas contaminants mounted on a diesel vehicle and an exhaust gas purification system comprising the device.

Provided is a Q-boosting circuit for improving a Q factor in a radio frequency (RF) integrated circuit of a semiconductor device using a transformer instead of an inductor. The Q-boosting circuit couples a negative resistance circuit to a pair of terminals of a transformer to reduce a resistance component of the transformer, thereby increasing a mutual inductance component. Therefore, it is possible to obtain a more improved Q factor than a conventional Q factor through adjustment of an inductance and a resistance component, and to obtain the Q factor having a wide range from several tens to several hundreds according to a frequency range.

The present invention relates to a heating device for exhaust gas in an internal-combustion engine, which is driven by using LPG, LNG, a volatile oil, a light oil, biodiesel or oxygenated hydrocarbon being DME, the device consisting of a catalyst reactor reformer, an exhaust gas suction section and the second fuel supply device. The exhaust gas suction section is mounted for using oxygen included in the exhaust gas. When the heating device is driven, air and fuels are supplied to the catalyst reactor and the second fuel supply device via a single tube when the heating device is heated. The present invention provides with a heating device for exhaust gas capable of securing the durability of a heating device for exhaust gas and minimizing the amount of air supplied from the outside to the combustion reforming device by excluding carbon depositions in a tube due to a prolysis of LPG, LNG, a volatile oil, a light oil, biodiesel or oxygenated hydrocarbon being DME, and a method for driving the device.

The active balun device includes: a differential input portion for receiving an external single input signal to output two complementary differential signals; and a differential amplifier connected to the differential input portion in cascade to amplify the two differential signals received from the differential input portion. Thus, the active balun device has a sufficient gain and a desired bandwidth in a semiconductor circuit.

Disclosed is a liquid crystal display apparatus in which a liquid crystal display module and cases are tightly combined. At least one protuberance formed on a top chassis of the liquid crystal display module combines at least one fixing portion formed on a portion of a rear case corresponding to the at least one protuberance. Also, a fixing protuberance formed on a portion of a front case is inserted into between the liquid crystal display module and the rear case, thereby preventing the liquid crystal display module from being moved. Therefore, the liquid crystal display module and the cases are tightly combined, and productivity of the liquid crystal display apparatus can increase by reducing the number of parts demanded for fabrication of the liquid crystal display module and the cases.

The present invention relates to a configuration method of a multifunctional particulate filter (MFPF), capable of reducing the content of particulate material (PM), carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC), and increasing the content of nitrogen dioxide (NO2). The MFPF may coat zeolite and an oxidation catalyst on both exhaust gas intake/discharge sides simultaneously, so as to minimize the slippage of HC and generate high-concentration NO2.

Provided are a wire grid polarizer and a backlight unit using the wire grid polarizer. The wire grid polarizer comprises a first grid layer formed on a substrate and provided with at least one of a first grid pattern, and a second grid layer formed on the first grid pattern and provided with at least one of a second grid pattern made of metal material wherein the first grid layer is made of high molecular substance having a lower refraction index than that of the substrate. By forming a first grid pattern on a substrate using a high molecular substance layer and by forming a metal grid pattern on the first grid pattern, transmission rates of respective wavelengths depending on light angles of incident light are controlled and thereby minimize color variations depending on view angle.

Provided is a method of manufacturing a wire grid polarizer in which a stable color coordinate can be implemented. According to the present invention, in a process where a second grid pattern of metal pattern is formed over a first grid pattern made of resin material, metal layer is deposited in a concave portion formed between adjacent first grid patterns to form void portion and a width and a height of the second grid pattern are adjusted depending on adjustment of a width of the voids, and thereby improving a process efficiency.
