    摘要: Heat pumps for climates where demand for cooling and heating are unequal and methods of adapting and distributing heat pumps for such climates. Heat pumps include a compressor, compressor motor, variable-speed drive, and controller. In a number of embodiments, non-volatile memory stores sets of constant speeds for cooling and heating, and a person can select, via an input device, different sets of speeds for cooling and heating to provide the different cooling and heating capacities. The controller then operates the unit at the selected speeds, selecting from within the set based on demand for cooling or heating. In some embodiments, different sets of speeds may have the same minimum speed but different maximum speeds. Identical heat pumps can be configured to have different capacity ratings and different advertized efficiencies for different climates.

    摘要: The present invention relates to data processing techniques in multi-channel data transmission systems. In this invention, a method to efficiently deal with FEXT is proposed and a circuit architecture to implement the proposed MIMO-THP equalizer is developed for the application of high/ultra-high speed Ethernet systems. The proposed method relies on the fact that FEXT inherently contains information about the symbols transmitted from the far end transmitters and it can be viewed as a signal rather than noise. Compared with the traditional FEXT cancellation approaches, the proposed design inherits both advantages of MIMO equalization technique and TH precoding technique, thus having better performance. Unlike the existing MIMO-THP technology, the proposed design completely removes the feedback loops in the existing MIMO-THP architecture. Therefore, pipelining techniques can be easily applied to obtain a high-speed design of a multi-channel DSP transceiver.

    摘要: A clock driving circuit and a method of driving a plurality of output lines for a PC architecture are disclosed. The clock driving circuit includes a clock generating circuit coupled to an output buffer for the PC having a plurality of output lines connected to a plurality of output loads having output load impedances. The output lines are driven differentially at an output voltage lower than a supply voltage. The circuit includes a voltage node having a voltage node impedance. The voltage node is maintained at substantially the output voltage. The circuit includes a current sinking transistor that sinks current from the voltage node. The current sinking transistor is operated in a linear region characterized by an ohmic resistance determined by the size of the current sinking transistor. The impedance of the voltage node is matched to one of the load impedances by sizing the current sinking transistor.

    摘要: An air purification system and method of purifying air according to various embodiments of the invention includes an ambient air inlet and a purified air outlet for the passage there through of air via a transport line. At least one cleaning chamber configured to contain therein an aqueous solution containing a reactant medium is in fluidic communication with the transport line. The ambient air passes through the at least one cleaning chamber and bubbles through the aqueous solution reacting with the reactant medium contained therein to remove gaseous pollutants and/or particulates. To recharge the system, a user simply changes out the cleaning chamber when the reactant medium is no longer capable of reacting to remove the gaseous pollutants and/or particulates from air passing there through.
