    Abstract: In an exemplary embodiment, a test system is provided for testing a power steering system for a vehicle, the test system including a motor, one or more sensors, and a processor. The one or more sensors are configured to obtain sensor data pertaining to the motor. The processor is coupled to the one or more sensors and to the motor, and is configured to: determine, using the sensor data, a desired position of the motor for providing a desired amount of torque to the power steering system in order to reach one or more target behaviors: an inertia target, a spring target, a damper target, or a friction target for the power steering system; and provide instructions for the motor to move to the desired position for providing torque to the power steering system.

    Abstract: A latency masking system for use in an autonomous vehicle (AV) system includes a sensors module providing sensor data from a plurality of sensors. The sensor data includes image frames provided by a vehicle camera and vehicle motion data. A wireless transceiver transmits the sensor data to a remote server associated with a network infrastructure and receives remote state information derived from the sensor data. An on-board function module receives the sensor data from the sensors module and generates local state information. A state fusion and prediction module receives the remote station information and the local state information and updates the local state information with the remote state information. The state fusion and prediction module uses checkpoints in a state history data structure to update the local state information with the remote state information.

    Abstract: A latency masking system for use in an autonomous vehicle (AV) system. The latency masking system comprises a sensors module providing sensor data from a plurality of sensors.     Abstract: Systems and methods to perform traffic signal management for operation of autonomous vehicles involve obtaining vehicle data from two or more vehicles at an intersection with one or more traffic lights. The vehicle data includes vehicle location, vehicle speed, and image information or images. A method includes determining at least one of three types of information about the one or more traffic lights based on the vehicle data. The three types of information include a location of the one or more traffic lights, a signal phase and timing (SPaT) of the one or more traffic lights, and a lane correspondence of the one or more traffic lights. The method also includes providing the at least one of the three types of information about the one or more traffic lights for the operation of autonomous vehicles.

    Abstract: A vehicle crowd sensing system and method of selective sensing for the vehicle crowd sensing system. The method, in one implementation, involves receiving a plurality of detection reports from a first set of vehicles, each detection report including an event, a position qualifier of the event, and a severity qualifier of the event; developing an inherent error model for the event that includes a compilation of the position qualifiers of the event and the severity qualifiers of the event; and determining a resampling instruction for the event. The resampling instruction is based on an action model and the action model is at least partly a factor of the inherent error model.
