摘要: A method includes receiving object data, by a controller of a host vehicle, from a plurality of sources, the plurality of sources including remote objects and a sensor system of the host vehicle; identifying, by the controller of the host vehicle, a target object using the object data from the plurality of sources, the object data including a target-object data, and the target-object data is the object data that specifically pertains to the target object determining, by the controller, that the target-object data is available from more than one of the plurality of sources; and in response to determining that the target-object data is available from more than one of the plurality of sources, fusing, by the controller, the target-object data that is available from more than one of the plurality of sources to create a single dataset about the target object.

摘要: A method for executing a V2V data exchange includes determining if a host vehicle is communicatively connected to a seeder vehicle, and transmitting a prompt between the two vehicles to initiate a resource discovery process. The seeder vehicle wirelessly transmits to the host vehicle a Bloom filter with multiple file IDs mapped to a bit array. Each file ID has a corresponding file version number encoded to the bit array. The method then determines if a local file ID of an existing file stored via the host vehicle is a member of the Bloom filter; if so, the host vehicle determines if a remote file version number encoded to a counterpart file ID is newer than a file version number of the local file ID. If the remote file version number is newer, the seeder vehicle transmits the data file associated with the counterpart file ID to the host vehicle.

摘要: Technical solutions are described for generating a pedestrian detection warning in a vehicle. An example method includes constructing, by a vehicle controller, a pedestrian zone based on pedestrian information that is received from a traffic controller. The method further includes computing, by the vehicle controller, a vehicle trajectory that predicts a path for the vehicle. The method further includes determining, by the vehicle controller, a minimal distance between the pedestrian zone and the vehicle trajectory. The method further includes predicting, by the vehicle controller, a time to collision by computing a time for the vehicle to reach a location corresponding to the minimal distance along the vehicle trajectory. The method further includes in response to the time to collision being below a threshold, generating, by the vehicle controller, a warning for an operator of the vehicle.

The V2I message includes at least one category of information among a plurality of categories of information and the plurality of categories of information include map-based information and road safety information. The method also includes determining, based on performing at least one type of verification, whether a misbehavior has occurred with respect to the V2I message. The misbehavior indicates incorrect information in the V2I message. A counter is maintained of a number of times the misbehavior has occurred with respect to the V2I message at the location, and the misbehavior is reported based on the counter.

The one or more controllers execute instructions to determine a plurality of vehicle parameters related to the specific remote vehicle. The the one or more controllers execute instructions to associate the specific remote vehicle with a specific lane of travel of a roadway based on map data. The one or more controllers determines possible maneuvers, possible egress lanes, and a speed limit for the specific remote vehicle for the specific lane of travel based on the map data, and determines the context and the intent of the specific remote vehicle based on the plurality of vehicle parameters, the possible maneuvers, the possible egress lanes for the specific remote vehicle, and the speed limit related to the specific remote vehicle.
