摘要: A turning bar draw-off device for a tubular film extrusion installation, with a plurality of turning bars which can be rotatingly driven around a common axis of rotation or in reverse by rotary drive mechanisms. For the rotating or reversing guidance of the turning bars around the axis of rotation, the ends of each turning bar are connected with guide carriages, which are guided on guide rails arranged in a circle.

摘要: A method and a device for producing a film made of a thermoplastic material, wherein a plastic melt is blown up into a film bubble and is shaped into a desired film by a calibrating arrangement, and a downstream arranged flattening device. For providing as contactless as possible a guidance, calibration and flattening, film guidance elements are used with a laminar uniform air cushion between the film guidance element and the surface of the film bubble, without contact between the surface of the film bubble and the film guidance element.

摘要: A process for concentrating polymers by evaporation is disclosed. The process entails (i) obtaining a mixture containing a polymer and volatile component, the volatile components being present in the mixture at an amount less than 20 wt. % relative to the weight of the mixture, and (ii) introducing the mixture in a downward direction under pressure through a plurality of nozzles arranged vertically and next to one another into a degassing container to form an extrudate. The volatile component contains at least one of residual monomers, oligomers and solvents, and the throughput of the mixture per nozzle is 0.3 to 2 kg/h. The vapor pressure of the volatile component of the extrudate is more than 2.5 bar, and the absolute pressure in the degassing container is 50 to 5000 Pa. The polymer prepared by the process is characterized in that it contains volatile components in an amount of less than 300 ppm.

摘要: A turning bar for contactless guidance of a tubular film web moved at a loop angle around the turning bar, including a support tube with a hollow interior, which can be connected with a compressed air source. The support tube has a plurality of air outlet openings which communicate with the interior and are spaced apart from each other, substantially over an entire width of the support tube within an angular area of the support tube corresponding to the loop angle of the tubular film web. An air-permeable microporous layer is applied to the exterior of the support tube and forms the surface of the latter, through which the compressed air exiting the air outlet openings of the support tube can flow. The compressed air exits the microporous layer as a laminar air flow, which forms a laminar air cushion between the turning bar and the tubular film web. An angular area in which the air outlet openings are formed in the support tube is increased with respect to the loop angle of the tubular film web. This invention also is for a method for contactless guidance of a tubular film web.

摘要: An extruder has a housing and a screw rotatable in the extruder housing about an axis. A drive has a drive housing fixed to the extruder housing, an extension fixed directly to the screw and extending along the axis into the drive housing, and a sleeve-shaped rotor centered on the axis in the drive housing and coaxially surrounding the screw extension. Structure rotation-ally fixes the rotor directly to the screw extension. A sleeve-shaped stator centered on the axis and fixed in the drive housing coaxially surrounds the rotor. The stator and rotor together form a motor that can rotate the screw about the axis.

摘要: An escalator drive machine includes a motor output sheave which drives a drive belt along a closed look between the output sheave and a drive sprocket. The output sheave engages the drive belt with the step chain such that the step chain and attached tread plates are propelled from one landing to the other. The output sheave includes a first set of teeth and a second set of teeth. The first set of teeth is around the output sheave hub to engage a set of belt teeth extending from the drive belt. The second set of teeth is preferably located along a rim of the output sheave and is engageable with corresponding link teeth located along each link in the drive chain. The second set of teeth maintain their relationship with the corresponding link teeth due to the first set of teeth, however, there is no contact therebetween. However, should the drive belt fail or become disengaged, the second set of teeth engage the corresponding link teeth. The step chain and attached tread plates are thereby prevented from moving independently.
