    摘要: A fuse structure for a semiconductor device is provided. The fuse structure includes a fuse layer between the upper and lower insulating layers. The fuse layer is connected to the other metal layers through the via plugs. The fuse layer includes at least two separate blocks and at least a connecting block. For the current flowing through the separated blocks in a zig-zag path, of the fuse structure provides at least a fusing point or more than one fusing points. In this way, the negative impact of the single failed fuse can be reduced, thus increasing the reliability of the fuse structure. Also the damage to the devices adjacent to the fuse due to the heat generated by the current can be prevented because when the heat generated during the fuse blowing process will be conducted to the adjacent blocks to facilitate heat dissipation.

    摘要: An immunoassay cassette, apparatus, and method for detecting an analyte in a liquid body-fluid sample are disclosed. The cassette has a body and a support mounted on the body, for movement relative to the body to first and second transfer positions. Sample supplied to a sample well in the cassette body is transferred to a reagent reservoir on the cassette body, by moving the support to its first transfer position. Here the sample reacts with a first reagent composition in the reservoir effective to form a modified sample. The modified sample is then transferred to a reagent strip on the support by moving the support to its second transfer position. The reagent strip has a transfer zone at which sample material is transferred to the strip, a second reagent composition effective to react with the modified sample to form a detectable analyte-dependent product, and a detection zone located downstream at which the detectable product can be observed. By controlling movement of the support to its first and second positions, the cassette can effectively handle a variety of samples having different flow rates.

    摘要: A video display system is used to display an image signal on a display unit and a method for power conservation thereof is proposed. The video display system has a CRT controller (CRTC), an image signal generator and a power controller. The CRT controller (CRTC) generates a synchronous timing signal for the display unit and a first mask signal. The image signal generator converts the image signal into a video signal with reference to the synchronous timing signal. The power controller turns off or slows down the image signal generator during an enabling time of the first mask signal, which is either a horizontal blank time or a vertical blank time.

    摘要: A fan duct for dissipating heat generated by a central processing unit of a computer is disclosed. The fan duct has a main body defining an air inlet and an air outlet. An electrical fan is mounted to the main body below the air outlet. A knob is attached to a top wall of the main body and located above the fan. An enclosure of the computer includes a back panel and a top cover. The top cover is attached with a hook. The fan duct is firstly assembled to the back panel by extending screws through the back panel to threadedly engage with the fan duct. The top cover is then mounted to the back panel to reach a finally assembled position in which the hook engages with the knob, whereby a portion of a weight of the fan is supported by the hook.
