    摘要: In a method for driving a liquid-crystal display panel of the type in which each of display picture elements arranged in a matrix array is provided with a switching transistor; a common electrode is formed on a first base plate disposed in opposed relationship with a second base plate with display picture element electrodes thereon, a liquid crystal being sandwiched between the first and second base plates; and the liquid crystal is driven by an alternating electric field of two voltage levels given by switching the potential of the common electrode between two potential levels during each display cycle, the potential of the common electrode is either linearly or non-linearly decreased during a display period at the lower voltage level of the two voltage levels and the potential of the common electrode is also either linearly or non-linearly increased during a display period at the higher voltage level.

    摘要: An information processing apparatus for accumulating image information consisting of n pixels and effecting the processing of output of the information is provided with a plurality of memory devices, a distributing device and an output control device. The information is stored in the plurality of memory devices. By the distributing device, the image information consisting of the n pixels are divided into m pixel unit basis (n>m), and the information consisting of the m pixels into a p (m>p) pixel unit basis, and the plurality of information each consisting of the p pixels are distributed to the plurality of memory devices. Upon the output of the image information, the information stored in the plurality of memory devices are selectively outputted by the output control device.

    摘要: An image information processing apparatus for processing image information includes a total curvature calculating unit, mean curvature calculating unit, a logical product computing unit and a median filter. A total curvature at each pixel of the image information is calculated by the total curvature calculating unit. A mean curvature at each pixel of the image information is calculated by the mean curvature calculating unit. The logical product computing unit executes computation of a logical product of outputs from the total curvature calculating unit and the mean curvature calculating unit. An output from the logical product computing unit is filtered by the median filter.

    摘要: An information recording/reproducing apparatus effects recording of information by moving a probe close to a recording medium and scanning a surface of the medium parallelly with the probe, reading out information by using a micro signal obtained from a physical phenomenon occurring in the scan. The apparatus is provided with plate electrodes and a capacity detecting device. One of the plate electrodes is formed on a substrate which supports the probe. The other plate electrode is formed on a substrate which supports the recording medium. A capacity between the plate electrodes is detected by the capacity detecting device. A gap between the probe and the recording medium is controlled in accordance with the detection result.

    摘要: An information processing apparatus effects at least one of recording, reproduction and erasure of information on a recording medium having a track groove by use of a probe electrode. Relative movement between the probe electrode and the recording medium is effected by the moving mechanism. A predetermined driving signal is inputted to the moving mechanism so that a predetermined movement of the probe electrode to the groove track is effected. The physical phenomenon caused between the probe electrode and the recording medium is detected, so that the track groove is detected and a correction value for correcting the movement of the probe electrode from the driving signal on the basis of the timing of the detection. The moving mechanism is controlled on the basis of the driving signal and the correction value.
