The output driver ICs 2A and 2B include the output driver 22 having power transistors in correspondence to a plurality of channels, the serial communication interface 23 for executing serial communication with the microcomputer, and the timer circuits 20A and 20B for generating a pulse width modulation signal and a pulse signal and are structured as a semiconductor circuit with these units integrated. The timer circuits 20A and 20B, on the basis of a control data signal received from the microcomputer by the serial communication interface 23, generates a pulse width modulation signal and a pulse signal.

    摘要: A motor control system which can realize current detection with high accuracy by using an amplifier having an ordinary level of accuracy and can avoid deterioration of current detection accuracy even when emperature is changed. The motor control system comprises a switch circuit for supplying a driving current to a motor, a resistor for detecting the driving current, an amplification circuit for amplifying a potential difference across the resistor, an input section switch unit disposed in an input section of the amplification circuit and changing over the potential difference to be forward biased or reverse biased, an output section switch unit disposed in an output section of the amplification circuit and changing over an output voltage of the amplification circuit to be forward biased or reverse biased, and a CPU for averaging a voltage produced when the output voltage of the amplification circuit is forward biased, and a voltage produced when the output voltage of the amplification circuit is reverse biased.

A single chip microcomputer has a memory, which may be a programmable read only memory (PROM), for storing data and is operable in accordance with program data stored in the memory. The data may be stored in the memory after the microcomputer has been mounted on a circuit board. The control apparatus includes the microcomputer with its memory, a control unit for controlling the storing of program data into the memory, a plurality of input terminals for receiving the program data from an external source, and isolation circuitry for isolating the microcomputer during writing of program data into the memory. The microcomputer receives data from external sensors which sense operating conditions of the automobile and applies signals to external actuators to control operating conditions of the engine.

    摘要: In the particular embodiment of the invention described in the specification, a variable resistor is connected in potentiometer fashion to a DC power source and a time interval is selected according to the position of the movable contact. The ratio of the partial voltage provided by the movable contact to the full voltage applied to the resistor is determined and an oscillator signal target count for the selected time interval is computed from a count corresponding to the total voltage. The arrangement permits accurate time interval determination which is independent of variations in the supply voltage, variations in resistance value of the variable resistor, or environmental changes.
