Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more specifically, to a method and apparatus for accessing channels in a wireless LAN system. The method for accessing channels in a station (STA) of the wireless communication system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of transmitting a first frame of a channel access request to an access point (AP); and receiving, from the AP, a second frame related to whether access to the channel is allowed in response to the first frame, wherein the second frame can include a value for a channel access start offset with respect to the STA.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for transmitting a signal of a station (STA) operable in a power saving mode in a wireless communication system, and the method for transmitting a signal comprises a step of transmitting a PS-Poll frame and/or a trigger frame according to a first time period, wherein an integrated scaling factor is applied to the first time period, and the integrated scaling factor is also commonly applied to a second time period in which the STA can omit frame transmission by maintaining an association state with an access point (AP).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device for updating system information in a wireless LAN system. A method for updating system information in a station (STA) of a wireless communication system may comprise transmitting, by the STA which stores system information and a configuration change count value of a previously linked preferred access point (AP), a probe request frame for active scanning to the preferred AP; and receiving a probe response frame from the preferred AP. Preferably, the probe request frame includes a configuration change count field previously acquired from the preferred AP, and if a value of the configuration change count field included in the probe request frame is different from a present configuration change count value of the preferred AP, the probe response frame may include one or more elements of system information which should be updated by the STA.
Abstract:
A method is provided for transmitting a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) packet in a wireless local area network. A physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) is generated including at least one training field, a very high throughput (VHT)-signal field and a plurality of data streams. The PPDU is transmitted to at least one receiver. The VHT-signal field includes first information, second information and third information. The first information indicates that the plurality of data streams in the PPDU are simultaneously received by the at least one receiver. The second information indicates which receiver is targeted for the plurality of data streams. The third information indicates a bandwidth used for a transmission of the plurality of data streams.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method by which a station (STA) which operates in power save mode in a wireless LAN system transmits and receives frames. The method includes the steps of: obtaining a channel access authority on the basis of at least one slot time, wherein each slot time is the unit time when a channel is maintained in an idle state for a channel access by the STA; transmitting a power save (PS) poll frame requesting the transmission of a buffered frame to an access point (AP); and receiving a response frame from the AP in response to the PS poll frame. The length of each slot time is set to be longer than the transmission time of the PS poll frame.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for performing a channel access by a station (STA) in a wireless communication system comprises the steps of: transmitting a first frame for a channel access request to an access point (AP); and receiving a second frame, which is a response to the channel access request, from the AP, wherein the first frame includes information indicating whether or not uplink data of the STA is present.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and device for transmitting and receiving available channel information based on directivity in a wireless communication system. A method for enabling a station (STA) to receive available channel information in a whitespace band according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: determining a current position of the STA and a position at which the direction is changed on a moving path of the STA; determining K (K≧1) operating ranges based on the current position of the STA and the position at which the direction is changed; transmitting a channel availability query (CAQ) request frame for the K operating ranges to a database; and receiving available channel information on the K operating ranges through a CAQ response frame from the database.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more specifically, disclosed are a method and an apparatus for accessing a channel in a WLAN system. A method for synchronizing channels from a station (STA) in the wireless communication system, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: receiving from an access point (AP) setting information with respect to an least one slot allowing channel access by the STA; receiving a synchronization frame from the AP from a slot boundary of the at least one slot; and synchronizing the channels on the basis of the synchronization frame, wherein the synchronization frame may be a null data packet (NDP) frame.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for receiving a downlink signal from an access point (AP) by a station (STA) in a wireless communication system, comprising the steps of: transmitting an uplink frame; and receiving a response frame as a response to the uplink frame. A terminal performs a re-association with the AP when it is recognized, via the response frame, that the AP has been restarted.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communications system, and more particularly to a method for sensing a channel dynamically in a wireless LAN system and an apparatus therefor. A method for performing a back-off in a wireless LAN system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of performing CCA by applying clear channel assessment conditions in order to transmit a data unit with a different channel width, and performing a back-off based thereon.
