    摘要: A methods for re-utilizing, for example, scrap steels are provided. A method is provided for separating Sn-containing oxides from steel by blowing Sn-containing oxides away from a steel using a gas. Also provided is a method of making a reclaimed steel by(a) heating a coated steel having an Sn-containing surface layer to oxidize at least a portion of the surface layer;(b) separating at least a portion of the surface layer from the coated steel to produce Sn-containing oxides and an uncoated steel;(c) blowing the Sn-containing oxides away from the uncoated steel using an exhaust gas,where steps (a), (b), and (c) are conducted in a first reaction zone;(d) melting the steel in a second reaction zone to produce the reclaimed steel and an exhaust gas; and(e) recycling at least a portion of the exhaust gas produced in the second reaction zone to the first reaction zone for use in the blowing step,where steps (a), (b), (c), (d), and (e) are conducted simultaneously.

A surface processing apparatus for a magnetic disk, including: a first electrode for fixing the magnetic disk, the first electrode having an inside diameter larger than the inside diameter of the non-magnetic substrate; an electrically grounded shield for shielding the first electrode; a second electrode, disposed in parallel to the surface of the magnetic disk, for generating plasma against the surface of the magnetic disk; and a plasma control member, disposed at a position separated from the outer edge of the magnetic disk by a specified distance, for controlling plasma generated against the surface of the magnetic disk; wherein a power is applied between the first and second electrodes for plasma-etching the surface of the magnetic disk.

    摘要: A spindle motor comprises a stationary shaft, a rotor hub rotatably mounted by ball bearings to the stationary shaft, and annular sealing members disposed between the outer surface of the stationary shaft and the inner side of the rotor hub axially outwardly of the ball bearings. The sealing member is directly fitted onto the outer race of the corresponding ball bearing. The outer race of each ball bearing is high precision finished so that the sealing member is definitely coaxial with the stationary shaft regardless of the finishing accuracy on the inner side of the rotor hub. Accordingly, the radial distance between the inner side of the sealing member and the outer surface of the stationary shaft can be minimized with high precision offering an excellent labyrinth effect.

    摘要: Disclosed is an image forming apparatus capable of preventing the offset phenomenon and an electrostatic adhesion jam. The surface of a photosensitive body is uniformly charged by a corona charge device, and then an image of the reflected light from an original is projected on the photosensitive body to obtain an electrostatic latent image. Subsequently, a developer develops the latent image into a visible image with toner. The visible image is, then, electrostatically transferred onto a transfer medium by a charge means.
