Abstract:
An Internet-coupled transaction service has a link to a computer appliance coupled to a merchant site, the computer appliance operated by a person who has selected one or more products or services to purchase at the merchant site, and who has selected, through the merchant site, the transaction service to arrange payment, and software executing from a computer-readable medium accessible to the service. The transaction service, via the software verifies the identity of the person, determines a credit worthiness for the person, and the score being sufficient, arranges payment to be made to the merchant on behalf of the person, and arranges repayment terms with the person for the payment to the merchant.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an aromatic substituted pentadienoic acid amides and there use in combination of specific amounts of aromatic amides i.e. 4-alkyl-5-(substituted phenyl)-2(E),4(E)-pentadienoic acid amides, its geometrical isomers or their dihydro or tetrahydro derivatives and an anti-infective drug useful in potentiating the bioefficacy of antiinfective drug. The combination of the present invention is useful in the treatment of certain infections and disease at lower concentration of anti-infectives necessary to inhibit the growth of microbial strains and may also find applications in reducing the resistance in microorganisms.
Abstract:
The disclosed Telecom Information Management System (TIMS) integrates Mobile Expense Management (MEM) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions with Telecom Expense Management (TEM) solutions in a single software platform, which can be delivered to enterprises as software-as-a-service (SaaS). TIMS can initiate over-the-air (OTA) enrollment of mobile devices, including installing provisioning profiles, applications, email server settings, feature restrictions, communication settings and other parameters. Configuration parameters can be added into software applications before they are delivered to a mobile device. The configurations can be updated after the applications are installed on the mobile device. TIMS can remotely disable applications or certain functionality of applications on mobile devices. The software applications delivered to the mobile devices can facilitate MEM and MDM by leveraging device capabilities.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention provide a class of mesophase separated ethylene/α-olefin block interpolymers with controlled block sequences. The ethylene/α-olefin interpolymers are characterized by an average block index, ABI, which is greater than zero and up to about 1.0 and a molecular weight distribution, Mw/Mn, greater than about 1.4. Preferably, the block index is from about 0.2 to about 1. In addition or alternatively, the block ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer is characterized by having at least one fraction obtained by Temperature Rising Elution Fractionation (‘TREF’), wherein the fraction has a block index greater than about 0.3 and up to about 1.0 and the ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer has a molecular weight distribution, Mw/Mn, greater than about 1.4.
Abstract:
The invention relates to functionalized interpolymers derived from base olefin interpolymers, which are prepared by polymerizing one or more monomers or mixtures of monomers, such as ethylene and one or more comonomers, to form an interpolymer products having unique physical properties. The functionalized olefin interpolymers contain two or more differing regions or segments (blocks), resulting in unique processing and physical properties.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention provide a class of propylene/α-olefin block interpolymers. The propylene/α-olefin interpolymers are characterized by an average block index, ABI, which is greater than zero and up to about 1.0 and a molecular weight distribution, Mw/Mn, greater than about 1.3. Preferably, the block index is from about 0.2 to about 1. In addition or alternatively, the block propylene/α-olefin interpolymer is characterized by having at least one fraction obtained by Temperature Rising Elution Fractionation (‘TREF’), wherein the fraction has a block index greater than about 0.3 and up to about 1.0 and the propylene/α-olefin interpolymer has a molecular weight distribution, Mw/Mn, greater than about 1.4.

Abstract:
Rheology modification of an ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer is achieved by blending the interpolymer with at least one branched polyolefin. The polyolefins can be homopolymers or interpolymers and have a branching index of less than 1. The ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer is a block copolymer having at least a hard block and at least a soft block. The soft block comprises a higher amount of comonomers than the hard block. The block interpolymer has a number of unique characteristics disclosed here. Rheology-modified ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer, i.e., the resulting polymer blends, can be extruded or molded into many useful articles, such as films, sheets, profiles, gaskets, foams, etc.
Abstract:
This invention relates to polymer compositions comprising at least one ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer and a branched and/or high melt strength polypropylene, methods of making the polymer compositions, and molded, overmolded, extruded into profiles or thermoformed products made from the polymer compositions. The polymer compositions may have reduced post-thermoformed sheet and post extruded (profile) gloss properties and/or improved scratch-resistant properties.
Abstract:
The invention includes an interlayer film and composition comprising a polymer composition obtainable from (a) at least one low crystallinity propylene polymer, and at least one (b) internal adhesion enhancer, (c) at least one clarity enhancer or (d), more preferably, both (b) and (c). The invention also includes a process of preparing a film comprising (a) supplying at least one first component, a low crystallinity propylene polymer, (b) supplying at least one second component, selected from at least one an internal adhesion enhancer, at least one clarity enhancer or a combination thereof; and, (d) admixing the first and second components and optional additives.
