摘要: The inkjet recording method and apparatus eject ink droplets made of an ink composition on a recording medium to record. The method and apparatus use insulating ink prepared by dispersing colorant particles capable of being charged in a solvent as the ink composition, allow an electrostatic force to act on the ink composition to form a thread of the ink composition and provide a stimulus to the thread at a frequency in a range of 100 kHz to 800 kHz to separate the thread into the ink droplets. The apparatus includes an inkjet head for ejecting the ink droplets, an electrode substrate for applying a charging voltage to the recording medium and a stimulus providing unit for providing the stimulus.

摘要: An ink jet printer comprises at least one ink jet head, in which plural nozzles are arranged in an array in a main scan direction, and eject a droplet of ink to recording material respectively at an ejected amount according to information of an image. Feeder rollers feed the recording material relative to the ink jet head in a sub scan direction, to print the image to the recording material two-dimensionally. A thermal head includes plural heating elements arranged in an array in the main scan direction, for applying heat to the recording material respectively in a heating region. A system controller sets drying heat energy according to the ejected amount, and drives the thermal head to apply the drying heat energy to the heating region, to promote drying of the droplet in the heating region.

摘要: There is provided a dustproof structure of an optical box in which intrusion of dust into the optical box can be prevented. Laser beams deflected by a polygon mirror of an optical box are transmitted through an optical system and exit from an opening outside the optical box, and reach a photographic printing paper. In this case, when dust and the like adhere to the polygon mirror or the optical box, the function of such an optical element deteriorates. Therefore, a dustproofing effect is required by the optical box. Accordingly, by supplying air into the optical box using a fan to thereby pressurize an interior of the optical box, the intrusion of dust from outside of the optical box into the optical box can be prevented, thereby making it possible to prevent dust or the like from adhering to the polygon mirror or the optical system.

摘要: In a photosensitive material exposure apparatus in which a plurality of rows of photosensitive materials can be subjected to scan-exposure, in a case in which there is only one row of a photosensitive material, scanning is not wasted and exposure time is reduced. Images are exposed by a single scan exposure system in which the column direction of a photographic printing paper (P) is a main scanning direction and a direction orthogonal to the column direction is a sub-scanning direction. In case of single row exposure, scan-exposure is effected only on a necessary row. Accordingly, exposure time can be reduced.
