摘要: A technique for cooperative distribution of video content is disclosed. In one particular exemplary embodiment, the technique may be realized as a method for cooperative distribution of video content. The method may comprise providing a plurality of content servers at a plurality of network nodes, wherein each of the plurality of content servers holds a portion of a complete set of video content offered to a plurality of users. The method may also comprise receiving, at a first content server, a request for video content. The method may further comprise retrieving, from at least one second content server, the requested video content if the requested video content is not available at the first content server. The method may additionally comprise forwarding the requested video content to one or more users.

摘要: A system for processing substrates within a chamber and for cleaning accumulated material from chamber components is provided. The system includes a reactive species generator adapted to generate a reactive gas species for chemically etching accumulated material from chamber components, and a processing chamber having at least one component with a mirror polished surface which is exposed to the reactive species. Preferably to have the greatest impact on chamber cleaning efficiency, the mirror polished surface is a surface of a component such as a gas distribution plate or a backing plate, and/or is a surface of a plurality of smaller components (e.g., chamber wall liners, a gas conductance line, etc.) so as to constitute a large percentage of the surface area exposed to the reactive species. Most preferably all bare aluminum surfaces which the reactive species contacts are mirror polished.

摘要: Systems and methods for tracking the privacy policy of an electronic device in a network having a privacy policy server and an authentication server are provided. In one aspect a privacy policy server receives a connection request from the electronic device, queries an authentication server for the device's privacy policy acceptance state. If the device had not accepted the network's privacy policy, the privacy policy server sends a URL to the device so the device may accept or reject the policy. The authentication server locates a network session identifier representing the device's connection with the network and response to the policy server indicating the device's current privacy policy acceptance state if applicable. Advantageously, a network session identifier can track a device's privacy policy acceptance state when the device reconnects with the network. The systems and methods are applicable in wireless networks, such as 802.11.

摘要: A computing device functions as a member of a distributed database system implemented using a wireless network. A member version of a chain graph is stored at the computing device. The chain graph includes events created by the computing device and events received through the wireless network from other computing devices that are members of the distributed database system. The computing device determines if it is a member of a voting committee that comprises only a subset of the computing devices that are members of the distributed database system. When the computing device is a member of a voting committee, it participates in a distributed consensus algorithm with other members of the voting committee using the wireless network to define an order of the events in the chain graph and stores that order as a new event in the member version of the chain graph.

A management frame from an access point (AP) or personal basic service set (PBSS) control point (PCP) indicates which designated channels are operating and which are non-operating, for purposes of subsequent wireless communications, such as Association Beamforming Training (A-BFT). The management frame contains a bitmap or other forms for indicating which of the designated channels are operating and which are non-operating. In response to the information received through the management frame, one or more stations (STA) can select any one of the operating channels for transmitting of frames in A-BFT communication or other access periods in the Beacon Interval.

A wake-up sequence is inserted in a portion ahead of the PDU. The wake-up sequence is used by the electronic device for detection of the WUF and identification of the intended recipient. The WUF also includes a wake-up identifier (WUID) that is used by the electronic device to authenticate the WUF.

The first device receives a communication transmitted by the second device, where the communication is intended for another recipient other than the first device. The communication provides information for the first device to determine a preferred transmit sector to be used by the second device for the D2D communication. The first device transmits a communication to the second device that provides information indentifying the preferred transmit sector to be used by the second device. As a receiver in the D2D communication, the first device receives data from the second device, transmitted on the preferred transmit sector. As a transmitter in the D2D communication, the first device transmits data to the second device on a preferred transmit sector identified in another communication received from the second device.

摘要: Methods and devices for receiving or transmitting a wireless packet are described. A wireless packet includes a short training field (STF) and a channel estimation field (CEF). The receiver determines whether the received STF matches an assigned STF assigned for a target link, by performing cross-correlation between the STF and a component sequence from a set of at least four different component sequences which are pairs of Golay sequences. The cross-correlation output is compared with an expected output. When the received STF matches the assigned STF, the wireless packet is considered a target packet. A channel estimation is performed using a cross-correlation of the received CEF with an assigned CEF assigned for the target link. The assigned CEF is from a set of two or more CEFs, where each CEF is formed using the set of component sequences, and the CEFs are pairwise zero-correlation zone (ZCZ) sequences.
