    摘要: A navigation device that includes a map data base in which map information is stored and a positioning unit that determines a current position based upon a radio wave signal received from a satellite, contains: a tunnel detection unit that detects a tunnel that is present ahead on a road where the navigation device is moving; a travel data acquisition unit that acquires travel data of another vehicle from an information center; and a position estimation unit that in case the tunnel detection unit detects a presence of a tunnel ahead on a road and the travel data acquisition unit acquires from the information center travel data of another vehicle that has traveled through the detected tunnel, estimates a current position of the navigation device in the detected tunnel using a travel speed in the detected tunnel in the acquired travel data as a movement speed of the navigation device.

    摘要: A route information supply system comprises a reception module which receives information on a current position and a destination from a terminal device by communication, a map data storage module storing at least detailed map data and summary map data, a traffic information storage module which stores traffic information, a route search module which searches for a guidance route based on the current position and the destination, a map information generation module which generates map information on an area containing the searched route by use of the map data storage module, and an output module which outputs the generated map information to the terminal device. When an event satisfying a prescribed condition regarding the traffic information exists in the area, the map information generation module generates map information on an area in the vicinity of a point where the event has occurred by use of the detailed map data.

    摘要: There is provided an on-vehicle stereoscopic display device wherein the same graphics having different brightness levels are superimposed on display devices to represent the depth of a graphic. The device has a configuration such that information indicating a cross-sectional shape of a graphic to be stereoscopically displayed is generated, and based on the generated information indicating the cross-sectional shape, the graphic having the depth is transparently displayed from the front to the rear of the screen. It is, therefore, possible to provide the on-vehicle stereoscopic display device wherein levels of the depth of a graphic to be stereoscopically displayed do not depend on the number of display devices, there are fewer limitations over a position of an operator to watch the display, and the superior visibility is provided.

    摘要: To protect a drive unit in a fluid valve assembly from impurities over a long term by preventing entrance of such impurities to the drive unit, a seal structure the sealing performance of which is hardly reduced is adopted around a moving part of the fluid valve assembly. The fluid valve assembly is provided with a valve member displaceably arranged in a flow passage through which a fluid is allowed to pass, a drive unit arranged outside the flow passage, a connecting member extending through a bore formed in a wall of the flow passage and connected at its end thereof to the valve member and at its opposite end to the drive unit, and a seal member arranged in gas- or water-tight relations with the wall of the flow passage and the connecting member and made of a flexible material such that the seal member does not interfere with a displacement of the valve member when the valve member is driven by the drive unit.
