    摘要: A navigation apparatus which includes a front image display displaying an image of a front side and a back image display displaying an image of a back side, the each image being one of images stereoscopically overlapped along the line of sight; a front image signal; a measuring unit for measuring a current position of own vehicle; a map storage unit; a controller for controlling each unit, wherein the controller reads map data of a predetermined area and determines if an elevated road exists in the area, wherein when the elevated road exists, the controller checks whether or not the current position of the own vehicle is on the elevated road, and wherein when the current position is not on the elevated road, the front image display draws the image of the elevated road so that an image drawn on the back image display can be visually percepted.

The display device includes: a first arithmetic processing unit; a display unit at which information is displayed as a bitmap; and an interface unit that can be connected with the external information processing apparatus. The first arithmetic processing unit controls the display unit so as to display information related to the specific type of processing transmitted from the information processing apparatus and also executes another type of processing related to the specific type of processing based upon an instruction provided by the information processing apparatus. The second arithmetic processing unit issues an instruction to have the first arithmetic processing unit at the display device execute another type of processing related to the specific type of processing.

    摘要: There is provided an on-vehicle stereoscopic display device wherein the same graphics having different brightness levels are superimposed on display devices to represent the depth of a graphic. The device has a configuration such that information indicating a cross-sectional shape of a graphic to be stereoscopically displayed is generated, and based on the generated information indicating the cross-sectional shape, the graphic having the depth is transparently displayed from the front to the rear of the screen. It is, therefore, possible to provide the on-vehicle stereoscopic display device wherein levels of the depth of a graphic to be stereoscopically displayed do not depend on the number of display devices, there are fewer limitations over a position of an operator to watch the display, and the superior visibility is provided.

    摘要: The navigation apparatus includes: a current position detection device that detects a current position; a display device; a storage device having stored therein position information related to points used as guidance points when providing route guidance; and a control device that controls the route guidance provided along a guided route which includes a plurality of predetermined guidance points based upon the current position detected by the position detection device and the position information related to the points stored in the storage device, wherein: as the current position approaches a first guidance point closest to the current position, the control device engages the display device to bring up display of an arrow indicating an angle corresponding to a direction to follow to advance toward a second guidance point after the first guidance point.
