Abstract: A pedal for a bicycle, which has a support having reflectors and being separate from a pedal body, the support being mounted thereto in relation of being swingable between a vertical position where the support projects downwardly from the lower surface of the pedal body and a horizontal position, so that when the bicycle is driven in the night, the support may project downwardly from the lower surface of pedal body to expose the reflectors, and when the reflectors are not necessary for use, the support may swing to reach the horizontal position and be held thereat.

Abstract: A bicycle pedal is provided with a pedal body having a front cleat retainer and a rear cleat retainer. The rear cleat retainer is pivotally coupled to the pedal body about a rear pivot axis. The front cleat retainer has a forward cleat stopping point facing towards the rear end of the pedal body. The rear cleat retainer has a rear cleat step-in point facing away from the pedal body. The forward and rear cleat stopping points and the rear pivot axis define a triangle with a first side interconnecting the forward and rear cleat stopping points, a second side interconnecting the rear cleat step-in point and the rear pivot axis, and a third side interconnecting the forward cleat stopping point and the rear pivot axis, with an interior angle of ninety degrees or less between the first and second sides of the triangle.

Abstract: A cycling upper garment is provided at least a pair of ventilation arrangements being constructed such that sufficient ventilation performance can be obtained. The cycling upper garment has an upper garment main body, a pair of sleeves, and a pair of ventilation arrangements. The sleeves are attached to both sides of the upper garment main body and each of the sleeves has a cuff. Each ventilation opening extends from one of the sleeves adjacent a bottom hem of the upper garment main body in such a fashion as to pass through an underarm portion. Abstract: A snowboard binding is provided for releasably connecting a boot to a snowboard. One embodiment of the invention includes inner and outer main bodies to receive a two-piece cleat. A second embodiment includes inner and outer hooks for hooking, and a latch for securing, a one-piece cleat. A third embodiment includes a front main body and a spring-loaded latch in a rear main body for engaging a one-piece cleat. A fifth embodiment engages a one-piece cleat with a front main body and a latch, fixedly mounted upon an axle, within a rear main body. The latch is biased toward the engaged position by a spring. In a sixth embodiment of the invention, a one-piece cleat is engaged with a front main body and two rear spring biased latches. In a seventh embodiment, among other things, the cleat is formed in two pieces.

Abstract: A snowboard binding comprises a base, a front binding arrangement and a rear binding arrangement. One of the front and rear binding arrangements is a binding member and the other is a binding mechanism, which includes a catch, a latch and a stationary guide. The catch moves between release and latched positions. The latch selectively holds the catch in at least one latched position. The stationary guide is fixed to the base to form a cleat insertion opening between the catch and the stationary guide. Preferably, the binding member is a front binding member and the binding mechanism is a rear binding mechanism. The catch preferably pivots about a pivot axis that is spaced rearwardly on the base from a pivot axis of the latch. In an alternate embodiment, the front and rear binding arrangements are reversed on the base.
