摘要: A heat exchanger is provided with a heat transfer tube bundle housing duct for housing heat transfer tube bundles, openings provided on a sidewall of the heat transfer tube bundle housing duct, for freely inserting and removing the heat transfer tube bundles, and rails provided in a direction perpendicular to an inflowing direction of a flue gas G within the heat transfer tube bundle housing duct, for freely moving the heat transfer tube bundles. Since the heat exchanger can draw out only a specific heat transfer tube bundle, it is possible to reduce a maintenance period, thereby minimizing a regular inspection period.

摘要: An orthogonal frequency division multiplexed (OFDM) demodulation device for demodulating an OFDM signal is disclosed. The device includes a means that demodulates the OFDM signal to produce a baseband OFDM signal. The device also includes a means that detects a carrier frequency offset amount that is a shift amount of a center frequency of the baseband OFDM signal, based on correlation of subcarriers to which a predetermined signal is inserted. Additionally, the device includes a means that controls a frequency of the carrier signal depending on the carrier frequency offset amount. The means that detects the carrier frequency offset amount divides subcarriers into a plurality of groups, calculates a correlation value with respect to an adjacent transmission symbol for each of the groups, adds the correlation values to each other for all the groups, and defines an offset amount assumed when a maximum addition-result value is obtained as the carrier frequency offset amount.

摘要: In a detecting device for detecting a fake test of Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) that another testee different from an actual driver takes on behalf of the actual driver of a vehicle using an alcohol measurement device, the face image of the testee taking the BAC test is shot during measurement of the BAC and the face image of the driver of the vehicle is shot within a predetermined period of time before or after the measurement of the BAC. The testee and the driver are checked whether they are the same person based on the face images of the testee and the driver.

摘要: In a method and device which can quickly detect a fiber misconnection without setting an expected value, a node identifier of source node and an identifier of an interface for inputting/outputting a signal are set in a predetermined first field of a header to be transmitted to a destination node, and when both identifiers set in the first field are received from the destination node, both identifiers are set in a predetermined second field of the header to be transmitted and stored with the first field. When the identifiers set in the first and second fields are received and the identifiers of the second field among the identifiers are consistent with the identifiers of the first field stored at the second step (means), a connection is determined to be correct.

摘要: Data migration is efficiently executed with optional timing. A file server outputs an instruction to a CPU of a storage apparatus to migrate a file belonging to Tier 1 to Tier 2 when, based on policy information, a condition for migrating the file belonging to Tier 1 to Tier 2 is fulfilled. Based on the instruction from the file server, the CPU copies the data of migration target files in Tier 1 from a page to a Tier 1 virtual page, copies the data which has been copied to the Tier 1 virtual page 114 to a Tier 2 virtual page, copies the data which has been copied to the Tier 2 virtual page to any page in Tier 2, and then overwrites and releases the Tier 1 and Tier 2 virtual pages, and migrates files belonging to Tier 1 to Tier 2.

摘要: MAID (Massive Array of Idle Disks) technology can not stop an array group in a time zone in which if any access is made to the array group desired to be stopped. For realization of power saving, the power may be stopped in a time zone when there is no access, but frequent power-on or power-off has a possibility of shortening the life of a physical disk. In addition, if plural physical disks are collectively activated in a particular period, the power consumption of a storage system as a whole in that period is increased sharply, so that there is a possibility that the stable operation of the storage system is adversely affected. For realizing power saving, plural tasks using the storage system is by scheduled and the task execution and the power-on and power-off of a power controlled unit is controlled based on the schedule selected by a user.
