    摘要: A method for storing holographic data in a medium having a reflection layer and a recording layer comprises: recording, rotating and repeating. An interference pattern is recorded at a recording position of the recording layer of the medium in a stationary state. The interference pattern is formed by an interference between an object beam and a reference beam which are irradiated into the recording layer from an opposite side of the reflection layer. The medium is rotated so as to shift the recording position by a distance of n×Sh where n is a positive integer and Sh is a predetermined recording shift amount. The recording and the rotating are repeated alternately.

    摘要: An optical disk which operates which two of more different wavelengths, comprising a disk substrate on which tracks are formed at a track pitch of not more than 0.5 &mgr;m corresponding to light with a short wavelength, a super-resolution film whose transmittance changes due to irradiation of light, and a recording layer, wherein the transmittance of the super-resolution film changes due to the irradiation of light with a long wavelength. In this optical disk, information recorded by light with a short wavelength can be reproduced by light with a long wavelength.

    摘要: An optical disc comprises a disc substrate having a groove and a land, and a recording layer formed thereon through a transparent film. In such an optical disc, when a width of a land on a flat surface of the disc substrate is W.sub.L, a width of the groove is W.sub.G, an average angle of inclination of a side wall of the groove is .theta., and a film thickness of a transparent film on a flat surface of the disc substrate is D.sub.U, the average angle of inclination .theta. of a side wall of the groove is 50.degree. or more and, at the same time, a condition of D.sub.U (1-cos .theta.)/2 sin .theta..ltoreq.W.sub.G -W.sub.L .ltoreq.4D.sub.U (1-cos .theta.)/sin .theta. is satisfied. By satisfying such conditions, not on a flat surface of the disc substrate, but at a position of a recording layer, symmetry of a groove portion and a land portion can be enhanced. Therefore, in an optical disc of a land/groove recording/reproducing type, a recording condition of a mark row onto a land and reproducing signal quality and a recording condition of a mark row onto a groove and reproducing signal quality can be made uniform.
