    摘要: A lighting controller of a lighting device for a vehicle includes M (M is an integer of one or more) switching regulators for supplying driving currents to first to Nth (N is an integer of one or more) semiconductor light sources; first to Nth current driving portions; a temperature detector; and a control circuit. The first to Nth current driving portions include first to Nth current detecting portions connected to the semiconductor light sources and serving to detect the driving currents respectively; and first to Nth switching portions connected to the semiconductor light sources respectively. The first to Nth current driving portions operates the switching portions corresponding to magnitudes of the driving currents detected by the current detecting portions respectively. The temperature detector detects a temperature and sends a temperature detecting signal when the detected temperature is equal to or higher than a pre-specified temperature. The control circuit controls the current driving means in order to decrease the driving currents to be supplied to the semiconductor light sources upon receipt of the temperature detecting signal. The control circuit sets a priority of each of the semiconductor light sources for decreasing the driving current and decreases the driving current in order from the semiconductor light source having a highest priority.

    摘要: A step-up/step-down DC-DC converter includes a control section to compare an output value from voltage decrease or increase sections and a preset target value. A computation circuit provides a voltage value resulting from subtracting a difference between the voltage value of the comparison result and a first preset voltage value from a first voltage value. A drive pulse generation section generates a drive pulse for turning on and off a voltage decrease switch and a voltage increase switch in response to the result of a comparison between the computation output voltage and a ramp wave. When the voltage value of the computation output voltage exists between the first voltage value and the second voltage value, the drive pulse generation section provides control to selectively switch the on and off operation of the voltage decrease switch and the on and off operation of the voltage increase switch.

    摘要: In a lighting circuit for a discharge lamp, the discharge lamp is kept lit without fail when a DC input voltage becomes low, while avoiding a complicated circuit configuration and control method. A DC-AC converter circuit receives a DC input voltage and converts it to an AC voltage and boosts the AC voltage. The DC-AC converter circuit is controlled by a control means having a circuit for detecting the DC input voltage “+B” to perform a lighting control of the discharge lamp. The lighting circuit comprises a transformer for AC conversion, switching elements, and resonance capacitor. The switching elements are driven to cause a series resonance of the resonance capacitor and an inductance component of the transformer for AC conversion or an inductance element. Upon detection of a reduction in the DC input voltage, the switching element driving frequency is shifted to a frequency lower than a frequency range when the discharge light is lit to increase the output voltage of the DC-AC converter circuit, thus maintaining the lighting state of the discharge lamp.
