Abstract: Provided is a pneumatic tire including: a tread portion that extends in a tire circumferential direction and forms an annular shape; a pair of sidewall portions disposed on both sides of the tread portion; and a pair of bead portions disposed on an inner side in a tire radial direction of the sidewall portions, wherein an anti-insect layer having extermination characteristics or repellent characteristics with respect to insect pests is provided on an innermost surface of the pneumatic tire, or a repellent layer having repellent or extermination characteristics with respect to insect pests or small animals is provided on an outer surface of the pneumatic tire.

Abstract: In a pneumatic tire, bead cores have a wire arrangement. In a cross-sectional view in a tire meridian direction, a tangential line and a contact point are defined. The tangential line contacts an innermost layer in a radial direction and the wire cross sections innermost and outermost in a lateral direction in the wire arrangement from a rim fitting surface side. The contact point of the tangent line is on the wire cross section on the outermost side. A gauge Wh in the lateral direction from the contact point to the rim fitting surface and an outer diameter φ of the bead wire have a relationship 2.0≤Wh/φ≤15.0. A radial height H2 of a contact portion between a body portion and a turned back portion of a carcass layer has a relationship 0.80≤H2/H1≤3.00 to a radial height H1 of the bead cores.

Abstract: A pneumatic tire of the present technology is a pneumatic tire provided with a tread portion, side wall portions and bead portions, a plurality of circumferential grooves extending in the tire circumferential direction being provided in the tread portion, and a belt-shaped sound-absorbing member being bonded via an adhesive layer to the tire inner surface in a region corresponding to the tread portion along the tire circumferential direction, wherein the width W of the sound-absorbing member is from 70% to 95% of the tire ground contact width TCW, and the total width of the circumferential grooves included in the region in the tire width direction in which the sound-absorbing member is disposed is from 25% to 40% of the width W of the sound-absorbing member.

Abstract: In a pneumatic tire including a side reinforcing layer, the maximum width W0of a bead core and the widths W1, W2 of the bead core at innermost and outermost sides in the radial direction, respectively, satisfy W1>W2 and W2≤0.5×W0. W0 is toward the inside of the center of the bead core in the radial direction. A carcass is folded and curved along the bead core, and a folded back portion of the carcass extends toward the sidewalls while contacting a body of the carcass. A rubber occupancy ratio in a region formed by the body and the folded back portion of the carcass is 0.1% to 15%. The cross-sectional area S2 of a filler toward the outside of the carcass in the lateral direction, the hardness H2 of the filler, the cross-sectional area S1of a side reinforcing layer and the hardness H1 of the side reinforcing layer satisfy 0.15≤(S2×H2)/(S1×H1)≤0.60.

Abstract: The pneumatic tire of the present technology includes: a tread portion; sidewall portions; and bead portions. A pattern of grooves is formed on the tread portion, and a strip-shaped sound-absorbing member is bonded along the tire circumferential direction to a region of the tire inner surface corresponding to the tread portion via an adhesive layer. A first ground contact region is defined between the tire ground contact edge on one side in the tire width direction and the tire equatorial plane, and a second ground contact region is defined between the tire ground contact edge on the other side in the tire width direction and the tire equatorial plane. The sound-absorbing member is offset with respect to the tire width direction so that the centroid of a cross-section of the sound-absorbing member in a plane that includes a tire axis is located within the first ground contact region.
