摘要： A scribing head 1 of this invention raises and lowers a scribing cutter by rotation of a servomotor 3. As a scribe pressure, a rotational torque of the servomotor 3 is transmitted to the scribing cutter. To form a scribe line across another scribe line which is formed earlier, the scribe pressure is raised temporarily when the scribing head passes the scribe line which is formed earlier. The rotational torque of the servomotor 3 is controlled at any of preset limits while the position of a cutter 6 of the scribing head shifts on the brittle substrate. The servomotor 3 is driven under position-control mode.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a brake control system for an electrically operated vehicle which is adapted to add a hydraulic braking operation to a regenerative braking operation, or change the former for the latter, rapidly and smoothly. An electric motor is operatively connected to a wheel for rotating the wheel, and a motor control unit for controlling the electric motor to apply a rotating force and a regenerative braking force to the wheel. In a main passage for connecting a master cylinder with a wheel brake cylinder, a pressure limit changeover device is disposed. The changeover device includes a first pressure limit device which is adapted to close the main passage when a master cylinder pressure is lower than a first predetermined pressure, and open the main passage when the master cylinder pressure exceeds the first predetermined pressure, and a second pressure limit device which is adapted to close the main passage when the master cylinder pressure is lower than a second predetermined pressure which is lower than the first predetermined pressure, and open the main passage when the master cylinder pressure exceeds the second predetermined pressure. First and second valve devices for opening or closing the main passage are connected to the main passage in parallel with the first pressure limit device, and the second valve device is connected in series of the second pressure limit device.

摘要： A recirculating document handling apparatus for use in a copying machine having an exposure station at which a document to be copied is scanned. The RDH apparatus comprises a document support tray for accommodating a stack of documents to be copied, a recirculating transport mechanism for transporting each of the documents from the document support tray towards the exposure station and then from the exposure station back to the document support tray, and an auxiliary roller provided in the document support tray for feeding each of the documents towards a document feed unit.
