Abstract:
A battery cell assembly includes a battery cell including active material configured to generate power from an electrochemical reaction. A pouch formed from insulating material envelopes the battery cell. The battery cell assembly further includes a cooling element having an internal portion and an external portion. The internal portion is disposed within the pouch and is in thermal communication with the battery cell. The external portion is disposed outside of the pouch. The cooling element is configured to transfer heat generated during the electrochemical reaction away from the battery cell.
Abstract:
The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for managing event timelines. Embodiments of the invention can be used to generate a dynamic task list (or progress indicator) that shows what tasks have been completed, tasks that can be done now, and remaining tasks. Thus, the task list acts as a guide and a measure of progress. The task list also increases the chance that tasks are completed in the proper order. Accordingly, the configuration of a task list provides utility to both experienced, professional producers as well as the do it yourself producer. Users can use the task list to drive their event management or they can ignore it.
Abstract:
An electrical connector having a pair of spaced apart contact portions and a substantially helical resilient portion extending therebetween. The electrical connector for use in a compact space, the electrical connector being flexible and inexpensive, and well suited for use in a vehicle fuel cell electrical system is disclosed.
Abstract:
A system and method for generating application code and an external interface for a service class in an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is provided. The system receives a definition of a service class from a user via a user interface tool. The definition of the service class specifies a query for the service class and operations that are to be enabled for the service class. The system automatically generates application code for the service class, which enables the service class to be used by an internal endpoint of the ERP system. The application code is customizable by the user; the user may add additional operations to the service class. In addition, the system automatically generates an external interface for the service class, which enables the service class to be used by an external endpoint of the ERP system without needing knowledge of the application code.
Abstract:
A method of transmitting data packets over an air interface is disclosed. At least a first and second stream of data packets are multiplexed, wherein a multiplexed stream of data packets is generated. The multiplexed stream of data packets is processed by a forward error correction function, wherein the forward error correction function adds redundancy bits to the multiplexed stream of data packets, wherein a third stream of data packets is generated, and wherein the redundancy bits are used for an error control to be performed on the third stream of data packets. The third stream of data packets is then transmitted over the air interface.
Abstract:
Compounds of formula (I) wherein R1, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, and R10 are as defined in the specification, are described. The present invention also relates to pharmaceutical composition comprising said compounds and to the use of said compounds in therapy. The present invention further relates to processes for the preparation of said compounds and to new intermediates useful in the preparation thereof. Beside, the invention relates to salts and polymorphic forms of the new compounds as well as the preparation thereof.
Abstract:
Aspects of the subject matter described herein relate to processing payment requests. In aspects, a user of an online system is allowed to pay for goods or services using a combination or one or more payment types including credit card, cash card, gift certificate, purchase order, money order, other payment types, and the like. A payment router determines which payment processor(s) needs to be involved to satisfy each payment request and routes payment requests to each payment processor as needed. Adding new payment methods and changing existing payment methods may be accomplished by changing a table or the like that associates payment methods with payment processors.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of selecting of a path to establish a communication link between a first node and one of a plurality of access points of a wireless cellular telecommunication system, the wireless cellular telecommunication system having second nodes being adapted to serve as relay nodes. The method comprises the steps of receiving of data from at least one of the second nodes, the data being indicative of a first quality measure of a first path from the one of the second nodes to its access point, comparing of a second quality measure of a second path from the first node to its access point with the first quality measure, selecting of the first path to replace the second path if the first quality measure is superior to the second quality measure.
Abstract:
A method of identifying a relationship between a set of one or more candidate biomolecules and a set of one or more reference biomolecules, the method including inputting to a computer a query set describing the one or more candidate biomolecules; comparing the query set with a target database describing the one or more reference biomolecules wherein the one or more reference biomolecules grouped into one or more buckets and wherein the one or more reference biomolecules of each bucket share a common property; counting a number of matches between each query set and each buckets of the target database; and statistically analyzing the number of matches to each bucket wherein the presence of a statistically significant match identifies a relationship between a the query set and a bucket of the target database.
Abstract:
The invention relates notably to a method for assigning resources in a shared channel of a communication network including a master station and a plurality of slave stations communicating with the master station over the shared channel. The master station sends transmit authorizations to the slave stations authorizing them to transmit at least a traffic packet on the shared channel. A slave station may have inactivity periods during which it has no traffic packet to transmit. A maximum time interval between two transmit authorizations, called activity time interval, is ensured during non inactivity periods for each slave station. The method includes a step of transmitting to the master station a silence indication upon reception of a transmit authorization at a slave station during an inactivity period and increasing the maximum time interval between two transmit authorizations for the slave station upon reception of the silence indication at the master station.
