摘要： An electrophotographic image forming apparatus for forming an image on a recording material includes an electrophotographic photosensitive drum, a charging device for charging the photosensitive drum, a developing device for developing a latent image formed on the photosensitive drum into a toner image, a transfer device for transferring the toner image onto the recording material, a fixing device for fixing the toner image on the recording material, a motor, and a main assembly side gear for receiving driving force from the motor. A recess is formed substantially at a center of the gear, the recess having a polygonal cross-section, and a projection is provided at a longitudinal end of the photosensitive drum, wherein when the main assembly side gear rotates with the recess and projection engaged with each other, rotational driving force is transmitted from the gear to the photosensitive drum through the recess and the projection with the projection being pulled into the recess, wherein a free end of the projection and a bottom surface of the recess are contacted to each other so that the process cartridge is positioned in place in a longitudinal direction of the photosensitive drum relative to the main assembly. A moving device imparts relative movement between the recess and the projection in a longitudinal direction of the photosensitive drum to engage the projection with the recess.

摘要： An IP tunnel is constructed between routers connected with the INTERNET. A bandwidth of the IP tunnel is assured by setting up a reservation resource protocol (RSVP) on the IP tunnel. Further as a traffic control of the routers and on the IP tunnel, a frequency for sending packets, which are processed by an input processor and an output processor inside of the router, is allotted based on a ratio of the reserved bandwidth in each IP tunnel, then an algorithm for controlling the traffic is simplified. Furthermore each of the routers on the IP tunnel has a function for scheduling a reservation and manages a time period at which the virtual private network (VPN) of a type of the reservation resource protocol (RSVP) will be used, then it is possible to reserve the assurance of the bandwidth on the designated date and time in the future.

The droplet discharge device includes a positioning stage, a flushing unit and an inspection stage disposed in this order along a common movement axis passing through the drawing area and the inspection area so that the inspection stage is disposed at a position closer to the inspection area. An image recognition device is disposed in the inspection area. A movement mechanism is arranged to move the positioning stage, the flushing unit and the inspection stage along the common movement axis. The movement mechanism is arranged to move the inspection stage independently of the positioning stage and the flushing unit.

摘要： A load drive apparatus includes: a converter which has two switching elements connected in series and through which a DC voltage, outputted from a battery, is converted into a DC voltage of a different level; an inverter through which the DC voltage, outputted from the converter, is converted into an AC voltage and the AC voltage is applied to a rotary inductive load; and a capacitor provided between the converter and the inverter so as to be in parallel to the converter and the inverter. One of the two switching elements, which constitutes part of a power supply path extending from the battery to the rotary inductive load, is a normally-on type semiconductor element. Accordingly, the present invention can provide the load drive apparatus that allows power, generated by a regenerative operation of the rotary inductive load, to be stored in the battery in a simple configuration even in the event of failure of a controller or a converter.
