    摘要: A heat dissipating member which is disposed between a heat generating electronic component which when operated generates heat and reaches a temperature higher than room temperature and a heat dissipating component is characterized in that the heat dissipating member is non-fluid in a room temperature state prior to operation of the electronic component and acquires a low viscosity, softens or melts under heat generation during operation of the electronic component to fluidize at least a surface thereof so as to fill between the electronic component and the heat dissipating component without leaving any substantial voids, and the heat dissipating member is formed of a composition comprising a silicone resin and a heat conductive filler.

    摘要: When associating a plurality of logical devices with one logical volume, the storage controller of the present invention improves the responsive performance thereof by determining the position for allocating the logical devices in accordance with the pattern of access made from the host. One logical volume is constituted by a plurality of logical devices. The control section computes the performance indicator (load) of each logical device in accordance with the pattern of access to the logical volume from the host. The control section computes the performance indicator of each RAID group for the case where each logical device is allocated on the basis of the performance indicator of each logical device. The control section determines a RAID group to allocate each logical device, so that the variance of the performance indicator of the RAID group becomes minimum.

The method includes heating a silicone-based molded object comprising a matrix composed of a solid silicone and an inorganic filler dispersed within the matrix, under a non-oxidizing atmosphere at a temperature within a range from 400 to 1,500° C. This method suffers almost no volumetric shrinkage, and yields a molded item with the intended shape and dimensions, and a favorable level of strength.

    摘要: A connector includes a housing for receiving a memory card in an inserted position; a mouth at one end of the housing for inserting the memory card into the housing and for removing the memory card from the housing, the insertion and removal being performed in a longitudinal direction of the housing; and a plurality of connection terminals arranged in the housing in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction and positioned to contact a plurality of contact pieces of a memory card in the inserted position, the plurality of connection terminals including at least one connection terminal for grounding, the connection terminal for grounding having a first contact part and a second contact part operable to contact a contact piece of the memory card for grounding of the memory card in the inserted position, the first contact part being positioned closer to the mouth than the second contact part and closer to the mouth than contact parts of connection terminals other than the connection terminal for grounding. This helps to insure that grounding of the memory card circuits is retained during card removal until the data signals are first disconnected.

This heat conductive composite sheet not only offers good thermal conductivity, but if an installed heat conductive member formed from this type of heat conductive composite sheet needs to be removed temporarily to enable the electronic component such as a CPU to be repaired or replaced, the electronic component is not removed together with the heat conductive member.

    摘要: A connector is disclosed into and from which a memory card can be inserted and removed with certainty. A slider is assembled in a slider accommodating chamber of a case body for movement among a leading end position, an intermediate position and a trailing end position. A memory card is inserted into the slider positioned at the leading end position and further pushed in to the trailing end position. Then, when the memory card is released, the slider moves to the intermediate position, at which contacts of the memory card are electrically connected to connection terminals of the connector. Then, when the memory card is pushed in, the slider is moved from the intermediate position to the trailing end position, and when the memory card is released, the slider is moved to the leading end position so as to be taken out.
