Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for controlling an electromotive compressor in a heat pump system for a vehicle. In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, an unexpected cutoff of a compressor attributable to overload and the generation of noise and vibration attributable to frequent restarts can be prevented by controlling the number of rotations of the compressor within a specific range based on the discharge pressure of the compressor.

Abstract: An air conditioning apparatus includes an air conditioning housing and a mode door. The air conditioning housing has a discharge chamber through which conditioned air is discharged out of the air conditioning housing. The discharge chamber includes a defrost vent, a main vent, floor vents and a rear seat vent. The floor vents are formed on opposite sides of a rear portion of the air conditioning housing. The rear seat vent is formed between the floor vents. The mode door has a front opening hole which is formed in a front portion of the mode door, a pair of main opening holes which are formed in a rear portion of the mode door at positions spaced apart from each other, and a rear-end opening hole which is formed behind a first portion provided between the main opening holes.

Abstract: A silencer for a vehicle air conditioning system is designed to reduce a noise and a vibration of a compressor transmitted into a vehicle room along coolant pipes. The silencer includes a silencer body tube and an external resonance tube. The silencer body tube is installed between the coolant pipes wherein a coolant gas flowing along the coolant pipes passes through the silencer body tube, the silencer body tube including one or more resonance holes formed on an outer circumferential surface of the silencer body tube. The external resonance tube is installed on the outer circumferential surface of the silencer body tube wherein a resonance chamber for absorbing a vibration and a noise of a coolant gas flowing through the silencer body tube is defined between the outer circumferential surface of the silencer body tube and the external resonance tube.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an air conditioner for a vehicle, which includes coupling portions formed on both sides of a scroll case, a connection cover coupled to one coupling portion and having an inlet ring and a dual ring, a motor housing coupled to the other coupling portion of the scroll case, air holes respectively formed on faces at the same height as both sides of a discharge part of the scroll case, and a blocking portion formed on the connection cover to close one of the air holes. The air conditioner can reduce investment costs, development expenses and the development period of time because all parts excepting an intake duct can be used commonly in RHDs (Right Handle Drives) and LHDs (Left Handle Drives) and can reduce a loss of air volume because air holes for cooling a motor are formed at positions to minimize resistance of the air discharged from a scroll case.
