摘要: A digital microscope includes a stationary stand body (12) and a pivot unit (14) that is mounted on a shaft (24) of the stand body (12), pivotably around the longitudinal axis (26) of the shaft (24). The pivot unit (14) includes an image sensing unit for acquiring images of objects to be examined microscopically. The microscope (10) further has a brake unit (22) for braking and/or immobilizing the pivot unit (14), and an actuation element (44) for releasing the brake unit (22). Also provided is an elastic element (82) that, upon pivoting of the pivot unit (14) out of a predetermined zero position, exerts a return moment (MR) on the pivot unit (14), the return moment (MR) being directed against a tangential moment (MT) brought about by the weight (G) of the pivot unit (14).

摘要: A medical technical apparatus includes an optical viewing unit including a receiver unit and a wireless footswitch device. The wireless footswitch device includes at least one switch configured to generate a control command corresponding to a performance of a function of the optical viewing unit, a transmitter unit configured to wirelessly, unidirectionally transmit data signals corresponding to the control command from the wireless footswitch device to the optical viewing unit using radio technology, a control processor, and a switching device. The switching device is configured to switch the control processor from an operating mode to a standby mode upon completion of a data transfer of the data signals from the wireless footswitch to the optical viewing unit and is also configured to switch the control processor from the standby mode to the operating mode in response to an actuation of the at least one switch for generating the control command.

摘要: A method for calibrating a microscope apparatus (1) having a variable optical magnification system (13) and a detector device (12) is disclosed. First, a calibrating mode is performed, wherein an image (50) of an object (10) is captured at a known reference magnification value, two characteristic reference points (32a, 32b) are determined in the image, a reference distance (34) between the two reference points is determined, and a correlation is determined between the reference distance and the reference magnification value. Later, a measuring mode is implemented, in which a current image (51) of the object (10) is captured at a second magnification value, the two characteristic reference points (52a, 52b) are identified therein, a current distance (54) between the current reference points is determined, and the second magnification value is determined from the current distance (54) based on the correlation between the reference distance (34) and the reference magnification value.
