摘要: A gaming system, kit and attendant methodology provide users with overlapping real-virtual world interactive play. The gaming kit outfits and enables a user's smart phone or tablet type computer to enable virtual gaming upon the visual display thereof. A user-operable control device separate from the computer includes circuitry housing and signal-transmitting circuitry housed within the circuitry housing. The user-operable control device generates and transmits virtual object control signals enabled via the signal-transmitting circuitry. A signal-communicating mechanism receives virtual object control signals from the control device and communicates the virtual object control signals to the user's computer. A computer-implementable gaming application is deployable via the computer for providing a controllable and visually displayed virtual object upon the electronic visual display. The virtual object is virtually controllable in a gaming environment by way of the control signals sent from the user-operable control device and communicated to the computer via the signal-communicating mechanism.

摘要: A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a method for detecting a plurality of stimulus signals generated by a gaming accessory device, identifying a plurality of substitute gaming stimulations associated with the plurality of stimulus signals, substituting the plurality of stimulus signals with the plurality of substitute gaming stimulations, incorporating in each of the plurality of substitute gaming stimulations a first unique identifier to generate a plurality of updated substitute gaming stimulations, transmitting the plurality of updated substitute gaming stimulations to a computing device executing a gaming application, and receiving from the computing device a plurality of game action results, where each of the plurality of gaming action results comprises the first unique identifier of a corresponding one of the plurality of updated substitute gaming stimulations. Additional embodiments are disclosed.

摘要: An interactive game system is provided. The interactive game system includes a head-mounted device (HMD), a game suit, a battery and a ground pad. The HMD executes a virtual reality program and displays video information of the virtual reality program to a user. The game suit is worn by the user and connected to the HMD. The game suit includes wireless sensors. The battery provides power to the HMD. The ground pad includes wireless charging devices arranged in a matrix to provide power. When the wireless charging device detects an approaching wireless sensor, the position information of the wireless charging device is transmitted to the approaching wireless sensor and a signal indicating whether the battery needs to be charged is transmitted to the wireless charging device. If the battery needs to be charged, the wireless charging device charges the battery via the approaching wireless sensor.

The computing device providing a plurality of sides, each of the plurality of sides are disposed between an electronic display screen and a back of the computing device. The input device communicates with the computing device and provides a pair of control modules adjacent to and confining the computing device on at least two opposing sides of the computing device. The input device further provides a structural bridge securing the pair of control modules one to the other, and a touch sensitive input module. The structural bridge adaptively and snugly accommodate the length of the computing device. A first of the pair of control modules features a retention mechanism communicating with the structural bridge. The retention mechanism adaptively secures the structural bridge such that the pair of control modules snugly accommodate the length of the computing device.

摘要: Systems and method for using a modular game accessory to play a video game. A smart toy is presented that can be reconfigured by the player on the fly while playing the video game by adding and removing modules. When the smart toy is reconfigured, the capabilities of the player's in-game avatar are modified accordingly. In this way, the smart toy exists as a hybrid of a physical toy and video game avatar. Modules for modifying the smart toy can represent components and crew of the vehicle represented by the smart toy, and different modules can offer different capabilities to the in-game avatar.

摘要: An electronic device may be configured to present a user interface via which a user can select from a plurality of commands associated with a particular video game. In response to a selection of one of the plurality of commands, the electronic device may transmit the selected one of the plurality of commands to a user interface device. The selected command may cause said user interface device to transmit a corresponding one or more simulated user inputs to a game console. The selection of the command may occur automatically in response to detection, by audio processing circuitry, of an occurrence of the particular audio clip in an audio signal output by the game console.
