Abstract:
A chain operator housing (1) comprising a barrier member (16) for subdividing the interior of said operator housing (1) into an operator chain compartment, which is open to the exterior, and a drive compartment, which is substantially sealed from the exterior.
Abstract:
A device for engaging and disengaging the driving mechanism of an automatic slide gate. The device uses a series of two levers to develop a substantial mechanical advantage in the operation of a dog clutch. An actuating lever is positioned so that it may be operated by the user's foot, eliminating the need for any auxilliary levers or tools.
Abstract:
A liftgate self-closing device for a vehicle includes a power drive unit and a track drive member drivingly interconnected with the power drive unit. The power drive unit selectively drives the track drive member. A pneumatic actuator is pivotally coupled at one end to the liftgate and at the other end to the track drive member. The actuator exerts a force opposing retraction of the liftgate. The power drive unit is operable in a first and a second direction. The first direction of the power drive unit drives the track drive member such that the pneumatic actuator is lowered to a predetermined position to enable the liftgate to automatically close. The second direction of the power drive unit drives the track drive member in an opposite direction such that the pneumatic actuator is raised to a predetermined position to enable the liftgate to be opened by an operator.
Abstract:
A revolving door has at least one night closing panel that runs concentric to at least one barrel-type wall. The night closing panel or panels slide or roll on a guide rail which is located on the ceiling structure or on attachments to the ceiling structure. The night closing panels can be moved with respect to the barrel-type wall by at least one flexible, endless tension or motive device. The flexible tension device is located in a runner, whereby the two strands of the flexible tension device are restrictively guided one above the other in the runner.
Abstract:
One end of a toothed cable is connected to a rear door of a vehicle. The toothed cable moves forward and backward, thus opening and closing the rear door. A drive motor imparts a moving force to the toothed cable. An electromagnetic clutch connects the drive motor to the toothed cable and disconnects the drive motor from the toothed cable. A speed sensor detects the movement of the toothed cable when the electromagnetic clutch is set to a disconnected state. A control unit sets the electromagnetic clutch to a connected state when the movement of the toothed cable is detected and actuates the drive motor to allow the toothed cable to move in the same direction at that in which the toothed cable is moving. When the completely opened or closed rear door is moved to some extent in a closing direction or an opening direction by an operator's hands, the rear door is automatically closed or opened by the drive motor.
Abstract:
A mechanism for angularly moving a closure element to and from open and closed positions. The mechanism includes a housing which incorporates a guide in which is slidingly located an elongate multi-link connector. One end of the connector is extendible from the housing and is able to be coupled to the closure element by a coupling. A handle mounted with the cover of the housing can be rotated to move the connector relative to the guide. The connector is formed from a plurality of links maintained in an interfitting relationship by an elongate flexible joining element extending therethrough. The connection includes a plurality of drive dogs for engagement with the tooth gear coupled to the handle so that drive from the handle can be imparted to the connector.
Abstract:
A manually releasable coupling device for connecting an elongate operator chain (2) with a frame or main frame member of a window comprises a first coupling member (3) for connection with a free end of the operator chain (2) and a second coupling member (6-10) designed for mounting in or on the frame or main frame member. The first coupling member is a flat disc-shaped element (3) with a substantially keyhole-shaped recess 85), while the second coupling member comprises a shaft section (6) for mounting in a bore in the frame member or the main frame member in connection with a turning handle (7). The shaft section (6) has a local constriction (8) for releasable engagement with the keyhole-shaped recess (5) in the disc-shaped element (3). In order to allow manual closing of the window under surmounting of sealing pressure, the shaft section may be eccentric relative to the rotational axis of the turning handle.
Abstract:
An operator for a window has a chain as an operating member, a sprocket wheel for advancing and retracting the chain, and a counterbalancing spring operatively connected to a shaft of the sprocket wheel.
Abstract:
An automatic opening and closing device for back door includes a back door rotatably supported on a body. A telescopically adjustable device is telescopically disposed between the back door and the body. One end of the telescopically adjustable device connected to the back door and the other end thereof is connected to the body. A driving device is served for telescopically moving the telescopically adjustable device.
Abstract:
An actuator has a worm gear which drives a pair of flexible parts into a guide where they are united to form a rigid transmission member. The parts have interlocking teeth which cooperate with each other to transmit stresses in compression and tension along the transmission member. Because the parts are flexible in a direction transverse to the direction of the guide, they may be stored in a space-saving manner to the sides of the guide.
