摘要: In one embodiment, a system for removing a plastic wrap from a cylindrical module includes a conveyor transporting the cylindrical module toward a disperser with the cylindrical axis of the module parallel to the direction of conveyor movement. In another embodiment, the disperser is a travelling head disperser thereby providing relative movement between the modules and the disperser. The direction of the wrap around the module is determined and the cover is removed during rotation of the module, either by unwrapping the plastic or by slitting the plastic and then rotating the module. The equipment used to handle a cylindrical module is moved out of the path of movement of a conventional rectangular module so an installation can handle both rectangular and wrapped cylindrical modules.

摘要: Roller blinds manufactured from rolls of fabric require cutting of the fabric corresponding to the width of the finished roller blind. Traditionally, a cutting device suitable for the fabric is mounted on the cutting machine, and it is also used even when less suitable for a particular fabric. Compound fabrics are traditionally manufactured in a completely different manner. According to the invention, a fast-acting change-over is obtained between two or more cutting devices so that the active cutting device is always an appropriate cutting device. Compound fabrics may be cut with a change-over during what becomes a continuous cutting operation.

摘要: An automatic top slice removal device includes a frame, a lower conveyor belt and an adjustably mounted upper conveyor belt extending generally parallel with and spaced from the lower conveyor belt. A meat product slicing device includes a blade interposed between the upper conveyor belt and the lower conveyor belt to separate a top slice from the remainder of the meat product. A top slice separator plate is adjustably mounted between the upper conveyor belt and the lower conveyor belt and positioned rearwardly adjacent and vertically aligned with the blade and extends rearwards therefrom to maintain separation of the top slice and the remainder of the meat product between the belts. Finally, a top slice removal conveyor belt is positioned rearwards of the top slice separator plate and below the upper conveyor belt to remove the top slice from the remainder of the meat product.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing woven airbags, especially at least partially multi-layered airbags. Said method comprises the following steps: a) the warp threads are prepared in the warping room, warp threads which are suitable as marker threads for machine-readable markings being already placed in the warp; b) the airbag material is woven, weft threads which are suitable as marker threads for machine-readable markings being interlaced over at least part of the width of the cloth; and c) the airbag is cut out of the airbag material using a cutting device which is guided by the interlaced machine-readable markings.

摘要: A method for optimizing yield from a slicing apparatus, includes scanning and weighing a carcass, slab or loaf upstream of a slicing head of the slicing apparatus. The carcass, slab or loaf weight is divided by a desired pre-selected portion weight to determine the number of slices to be made. A remainder portion is allocated to an intermediate position along the carcass, slab or loaf to be sliced from the carcass, slab or loaf before a butt end portion, gripped by a gripper of the slicing apparatus, reaches the slicing head. The butt end portion is pre-arranged to be the desired pre-selected portion weight or at least an acceptable pre-selected portion weight. The butt end portion can then be released by the gripper as a desired or acceptable weight portion.

摘要: A method of classifying slices or a portion cut from a food product according to an optical image of the slice. After a slice is removed from a food product loaf the slice is passed into an image field of a digital image receiving device. A control generates a pixel-by-pixel image data of the slice using input from the digital image receiving device. The control calculates a surface area of the slice from the data, and a fat content of the slice on a pixel-by-pixel basis. The fat content data is compared to at least one predetermined limit and the slice is classified accordingly.

摘要: A method for manufacturing hosiery items, termed "top-to-top" method, and the related modified knitting and stitching machines. The method includes the following steps: knitting a first hosiery item starting from a top down to a toe; knitting at least one row of trim at the end of the toe; knitting a second hosiery item at the end of the row of trim starting from a second toe up to a second top; separating and stitching the first and second hosiery items initially joined by the trim row by means of a specifically modified stitching machine. The stitching machine includes two independent stitching units which are fed by a common conveyor which is provided with a cutter and with diverging traction means. Top-to-top knitting can be performed with appropriately modified mechanically-programmed machines or with electronically programmed machines. The advantage of the method is that it considerably increases productivity and almost completely eliminates the waste of excess thread that occurs with current operations for stitching the toes of individually knitted hosiery items.
