摘要： An irrigation sprinkler includes a head having a first water outlet passage that communicates with a nozzle receiving socket. A nozzle is slidably mounted in the nozzle receiving socket. The nozzle includes a hollow support body defining a second water outlet passage that communicates with the first water outlet passage. The nozzle also includes a portion obstructing the second water passage and defining a nozzle orifice. The nozzle also includes a cantilevered pry flange that extends in a lateral direction from an outer end of the support body. The pry flange has a portion that terminates short of a wall of the nozzle receiving socket to create a gap sized for ready insertion of a tool to facilitate removal of the nozzle from the nozzle receiving socket. The sprinkler includes conventional structure for supplying the first water outlet passage of the head with pressurized water.

摘要： A high velocity cutting nozzle for connection to the fluid supply tube of a high pressure fluid cutting system. The nozzle includes a housing which threadably connects to the fluid supply tube for receiving pressurized liquid therefrom. A bushing disposed within the housing sandwiches a removable sleeved jeweled orifice disk therebetween at a spray outlet bore of the housing. The bushing includes a flow directing bore with a convergent inlet portion for reducing turbulence, and an outlet portion having an annular cylindrical or divergent inner surface, and an annular convergent angled or curved end surface. The sleeved orifice disk is in co-axial fluid communication with the flow-directing bore and a spray outlet bore of the housing to facilitate fluid flow. The sleeved orifice disk fits within a sleeve receiving bore in the bushing immediately downstream of the flow-directing bore abutting a shoulder of the bushing.

摘要： The present invention provides a spray gun with associated nozzle attachments for high deposition efficiency for thermal spray of high quality, dense, low oxide content coatings. The spray guns are used to produce coatings using a thermal spray process, a high velocity oxy-fuel process, a high velocity air-fuel process, cold spraying, and plasma spraying in which the process is characterised by having an over-expanded flow with a Mach number from about 1.0 to about 4.0 which have passageway section which diverges to the gun outlet. In one embodiment the nozzle attachment is another diverging section with a greater angle of divergence than the diverging nozzle section. In another embodiment the nozzle attachment includes the aforementioned diverging nozzle attachment section followed by a converging nozzle section having an outlet section through which the thermal spray is emitted.
