Abstract:
A peristaltic pump chamber with shape memory for pressure adjustment in tires is provided and which is part of the tire or is adjacent to the tire wall or is a part of a vehicle wheel, in particular for tires with an inner tube, e.g. bicycle tires.
Abstract:
The present technology provides a pneumatic tire that can improve air dispersibility during vulcanizing at the interfaces of a plurality of types of rubber layers integrally formed by rolling or extruding, and that can effectively suppress blister defects. In a pneumatic tire where a plurality of types of rubber layers integrally formed by rolling or extruding, at least one strand of thread is provided at an interface of the plurality of types of rubber.
Abstract:
A safety liner (20) for a vehicle tire (500) includes a tubular body (22) having a one-way valve (24). A service valve (50) is selectively insertable into the one-way valve (24). Tubular body (22) is compressible into a flattened circular shape by a compressive force, and when the compressive force is removed, the tubular body (22) resiliently assumes its original toroidal shape. Safety liner (20) is installed in the cavity (503) of vehicle tire (500) as the vehicle tire (500) is being installed on the tire rim (502). If a blowout or other leak occurs, safety liner (20) will cause the shape of vehicle tire (500) to be retained at a reduced profile.
Abstract:
There is proposed a toric air bag for a safety tire capable of sufficiently and equally contacting with a full inner face of a tire in the expansion-deformation of the toric air bag by a drop of an internal pressure in the tire, wherein at least an expansion-deforming portion of the toric air bag having a hollow torus shape as a whole is constructed with a tension support member, and to the expansion-deforming portion is given a property indicating a characteristic of extension ratio-tensile force that tensile force per unit width is substantially and gradually increased with the increase of elongation through the expansion-deformation.
Abstract:
An inner tube for a vehicle tire, including a base, the base having two outer walls, two inner walls, an annular air chamber connected between the inner walls, and a plurality of rubber coated breakers retained between the inner walls and the outer walls and arranged in a zigzag manner around the axial central axis of the base, and a multi-cell tube mounted around the annular master air chamber between the inner walls of the base, the multi-cell tube having arched cells of different sizes arranged around its center, a plurality of foamed rubber blocks and a plurality of glued breakers alternatively plugged into the arched cells, and a layer of patching agent covered over the arched cells to seal the foamed rubber blocks and the glued breakers in the arched cells.
Abstract:
The tread reinforcement of a pneumatic tire comprises at least two plies of cords that are crossed with respect to each other and oblique with respect to the longitudinal direction. The carcass reinforcement comprises at least one principal ply extending from one bead to the other and two auxiliary plies having cords oblique with respect to the longitudinal direction and arranged one on one side and the other on the other side of the median plane of the tire. The cords of the principal ply are oblique with respect to the radial direction in the zones in which the auxiliary plies are mounted and radial in other zones.
