Abstract: A method for storing and reutilizing energy during operation of a hydrostatic actuator (EHA) having a hydraulic cylinder, a first bidirectional pump-motor rotationally coupled to an electric motor, and EHA valving and connections between the first pump-motor and the hydraulic cylinder. During at least one of two motoring quadrants, a hydraulic accumulator is charged using a second pump-motor whose rotation is driven by load-driven motoring of the first bidirectional pump-motor. During at least one of the pumping quadrants, driven rotation is imparted to the second pump-motor using stored energy from the accumulator, and said driven rotation of the second pump-motor is used to augment powered rotation of the first bidirectional pump-motor by the electric motor.

Abstract: A hydraulic fluid pressure amplifier system includes a boost cylinder assembly, an energy storage device in fluid communication with the boost cylinder assembly, and a working cylinder assembly. The boost cylinder assembly is configured to selectively receive a plunger member into a boost cylinder, wherein movement of the plunger member received in the boost cylinder compresses a charge fluid within a blind side volume of the boost cylinder from a first fluid pressure to an amplified fluid pressure greater than the first pressure. The working cylinder assembly is selectively operable responsive to receiving a source hydraulic fluid having a nominal fluid pressure less than the amplified fluid pressure for effecting the movement of the plunger member into the boost cylinder. The energy storage device is operable to selectively receive and store a portion of the charge fluid compressed to the amplified fluid pressure.

Abstract: A load sensitive ride system and method is disclosed for a vehicle with an implement movably attached by a boom cylinder. The system includes a payload weight measuring system that measures payload weight and generates a signal indicative of the payload weight, a ride control circuit that adjusts hydraulic flow to and from the boom cylinder; and a controller that receives the signal indicative of the payload weight, and sends compliance commands to adjust ride control compliance based on the signal indicative of the payload weight. The system can include a tire inflation system that adjusts tire pressure. The controller can send inflation commands to adjust tire pressure based on the signal indicative of the payload weight. The compliance commands can depend on the components and compliance adjustment methods of the ride control circuit.

Abstract: A product application system for an agricultural applicator includes a boom assembly including a plurality of boom sections, with each boom section being pivotably coupled to at least one adjacent boom section. The system also includes a common rail product circuit spanning across a length of the boom assembly, a product pump configured to supply an agricultural product through the common rail product circuit, and a plurality of nozzle assemblies provided in association with each of the boom sections. Each nozzle assembly across the plurality of boom sections is individually coupled to the common rail product circuit. In addition, the system includes at least one pressure accumulator provided in fluid communication with the common rail product circuit, with the pressure accumulator(s) being configured to adjust a circuit pressure of the agricultural product within the common rail product circuit in response to pressure deviations from a predetermined pressure range.

Abstract: Some of the present systems include a hydraulic power storage system having an accumulator configured to supply pressurized hydraulic fluid to a hydraulically actuated device to actuate the hydraulically actuated device and a drain in fluid communication with the accumulator and including a valve that is actuatable to drain hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic power storage system such that an internal pressure of the accumulator is reduced and a flow restrictor configured to reduce a flow rate of hydraulic fluid through the valve, a hydraulic pump configured to pressurize the accumulator, a pressure sensor configured to capture data indicative of the internal pressure of the accumulator, and a processor configured to actuate the hydraulic pump to increase the internal pressure of the accumulator if the internal pressure of the accumulator, as indicated in data captured by the pressure sensor, falls below a threshold pressure.

When the digging motor encountered an overlarge resistance force, a pressure on the digging motor is instantaneously increased and exceeds a setting pressure value, hydraulic oil enters a hydraulic operated directional valve and pushes a valve rod to make the walking motor is reverse and retreat, an ultrahigh pressure state of the digging motor is released to restore to a normal pressure value to make reciprocated impact, the valve rod of the hydraulic operated directional valve is reset, and the walking motor is forwards rotated for advancing.
