摘要: Provided is a process for producing an elastic heat spreader film, the process comprising: (a) providing a layer of an aggregate or cluster of multiple graphene sheets; (b) impregnating an elastomer or rubber into the aggregate or cluster as a binder material or a matrix material to produce an impregnated aggregate or cluster, wherein the multiple graphene sheets are bonded by the binder material or dispersed in the matrix material and the elastomer or rubber is in an amount from 0.001% to 20% by weight based on the total heat spreader film weight; and (c) compressing the impregnated aggregate or cluster to produce the heat spreader film wherein the multiple graphene sheets are substantially aligned to be parallel to one another and wherein the elastic heat spreader film has a fully recoverable tensile elastic strain from 2% to 100% and an in-plane thermal conductivity from 200 W/mK to 1,750 W/mK.

摘要: A system and method for repositioning teeth in a patient jaw includes an attachment bonded to a tooth. The attachment has at least one force receiving component for receiving a force. A polymeric shell repositioning appliance is positioned over at least some of the teeth in the patient jaw. The polymeric shell has at least one force transmitting component for engaging the force receiving component to form a locus of engagement. The locus of engagement transmits the force and moves but is maintained as the tooth is repositioned. In specific embodiments the locus of engagement is maintained over a substantial range of motion. The force transmitted at the locus of engagement increases in response to the tooth lagging an intended position. A space between the positioned appliance and the tooth permits the tooth to move into an intended position.

摘要: A forming apparatus includes a substrate holder that holds a substrate; a support table that supports the substrate holder; a mold holder that holds a mold; a driving unit that brings a photo-curable formable material applied to the substrate and the mold into contact with each other; an irradiation unit that irradiates the formable material with light while the formable material and the mold are maintained in contact with each other by the driving unit, the irradiation unit including a light-emitting-element array including light emitting elements arranged on the support table or the substrate holder; and an optical member that is positioned further in a direction from the support table to the mold holder than a position of the mold holder, the optical member guiding light from the light emitting elements toward the formable material on the substrate.

摘要: A blade for a hockey stick which can readily absorb impact from the puck, and can allow the user to feel the puck on the blade in contrast to conventional carbon fiber blades. The blade can include a blade member integrally formed of composite material having discontinuous fibers bonded within thermosetting resin. The blade member can have a blade periphery surrounding a central blade region. The central blade region can have a plurality of openings arranged in a pattern to form series of elongate criss crossing ribs that extend between and connect different sides of the blade periphery to each other. The fibers in the blade periphery can be in a generally jumbled orientation, and the fibers in the central blade region can be positioned within the ribs in a manner wherein each rib contains a plurality of fibers that substantially extend in said each rib's elongate direction.
