摘要： A window regulator assembly is described that comprises a window bracket that is in contact with the bottom edge of the window; a cable; a carrier plate that is in contact with the window bracket and both ends of the cable; a tension spring located on each end of the cable; an upper bracket assembly; a drum housing having a cable drum; a hollow conduit located between the upper bracket assembly and the drum housing; and a drive unit. The upper bracket assembly, cable drum, and conduit are capable of slideably receiving the cable, while the tension springs provide a predetermined amount of tension to the cable in order for the window regulator assembly to move the window between open and closed positions. Many of the components of the window regulator assembly may be formed from a thermoplastic material.

In the cable drum, a fitting chamber for cable end fastening is provided. The fitting chamber is disposed inside the outer circumference projection on a cross-sectional plane projected perpendicular to the axis. In this way, a more compact design of the cable drum and transmission of higher driving torque are achieved.

Consequently, when the pin bolt 42 is to be fastened to a body panel, the pulley 22, the pulley support 54, and the pin bolt 42 can be handled as a single part. Thus, the work of attaching a pulley and a pulley support to a body panel of a vehicle can be facilitated.

摘要： A cable tensioner includes two members, such as a pipe and a tube, that define a cable path. The members are helically mobile relative to each other. A retractable detent permits the relative movement of the members in one direction and prevents the relative movement of the members in another direction. The cable tensioner is thus irreversible, regardless of the operating conditions. The cable tensioner is, for example, applicable to a cable used in a vehicle window regulator. The window regulator cable extends in a protective sheath. One end of the protective sheath abuts against the second member, and the second member acts on the end of the protective sheath to increase the cable path and cable tension.
